The dive was pretty embarrassing. I'm sure if that was Bale, it would of have been a different story though. This is the first time Santi dives in the box, so I'll take it with a grain of salt. I hope it doesn't become something he does often.
Sometimes, when you are in a **** situation, you need some luck.
I wasn't saying that the dive was. I was refering to the fact that from the referee's angle, it looked like Reid swiped Cazorla's leg. Obviously that wasn't the case, but from the ref's angle (Behind Cazorla), it looked like a swipe.
Cause if Cazorla dives once, and hes a dirty cheating *******, what about Bale? Suarez gets tons of hate, but Bale is a "magnificent footballer"? (Not saying he isn't. Hes a world class player)
the problem with saying "oh, that is how it works in football, you win some and you get some breaks" is that inevitably one of those calls go against you and then we have to listen to you whine in this thread.
lol...i have a buddy who's a huge Arsenal fan, he's quick to point out every other dive, but suspiciously he's been quiet on twitter this morning....i know he's watching the game, he doesn't miss one...
oh well, as stated, he's not a known diver, but i wish something would be done for things like this, i just don't know how you police it...obvious dive 1st time 1 game? then go from there? I feel it needs to be swift and meaningful to stop it...
and why the heck are Suarez and bale being brought up?
your guy dove, your manager will purport to have not seen the play in question, and most neutrals are now hoping that the baggies equalize.
stop trying to justify actions
Did I ever deny the fact that Cazorla dove? No. What I am saying is that Cazorla is not renound to be a diver, so it is completely irrelevant to call him a cheater and whatnot. Yes on THAT play he cheated, but that doesn't make him a cheater for the rest of his days in the premier league. That is what I am trying to point out. I'm not defending the call (Which every single Arsenal fan agree was the wrong one), I'm defending the player.
