What's wrong with these players?

So, what's wrong with

1) Corey Locke? Stats are pretty bad.

2) Markus Granlund? Stats are even worse.

One aspect is that the whole team is doing so bad 4th worst scoring team, so it's not like he is getting much help

From what I've seen and read, the biggest problem for Locke is his speed. He just seems to be late all the time and at least has looked bit lazy. Also adjustment to finnish hockey has been far from easy.

Also the ability of his teammates to score goals from some of the awesome passes he has made makes his stats look quite bad.

Markus played with his brother last season. I think his stats now tell more than the last season's stats.
