1600 Jokerit fans travel to away game against TPS 08.12.2012

by "Jokerit train" and busses. I think this is the biggest fan travel in SM-Liiga history.

More stuff here when the pics and videos come available.

I wonder how many women will get kicked in the back with iron-tipped boots this time.

This.

I was watching IPK - Hermes lately in Suomi-Sarja. Hermes fans had travelled and they literally owned the IPK rink by the terms of shouting and cheering.. It was great to see in Suomi-Sarja, they even had flag and stuff.

But as it Jokerit fans, I wouldn't put all my money on Jokerit fans not being violent ect. Hope Im wrong about them thought! But usually the fans are fine, its just the hardcorest fans that do those ylilyönti's.

Hopefully all the Turku bakeries have prepared, because the demand for roll buns will skyrocket.

So much generalisation and envy here but I kinda didn't expect anything less.

Seems like most are still in the hotdog lines. Though I admit it's hard to fill the big stands against low level teams.

Only things ruining todays match are those "läpsyttimet" whatever you call them in english. Who came up with that?

Let's hope for good vocal support from both sides today. Jokerit will have the advantage in numbers, but I doubt TPS supporters will be entirely silent.

Jokerit will own that Turku arena today like every time they travel there by train

Even the GM and owner travel with the fans in the train:

Still, in the 3rd period your 1500 were shut down by what? 200 TPS supporters? Ofcourse Jokerit losing had an effect, but still.

Amazing atmosphere, and in the first half of the game the big number of Jokerit supporters certainly were louder than the TPS group.

Good game but sadly Jokerit were tired. TPS aka läpsyttimet played good overall defensive game and deserved the win. Yeah and in the end the Jokerit fans seemed to lost a bit their cheering with the teams performance but still very good saturday "night" atmosphere and even the TPS fans woke up also in the end.

Have to add here, we were awake the whole time and chanting, but quite clearly your advantage in numbers overshadowed our songs.
Terrific display from both sides no less.

Absolutely, almost felt like playoffs in 2010.
Game itself wasn't a bad one either, though the referees were quite bad.

Those "läpsyttimet" should be banned like vuvuzuelas, I think we all can agree on that.

This is really nothing uncommon in Finnish night trains. Besides, no one was hurt so that must have been quite the fight...
