Every site I've ever seen lists him at 5'9 or 5'10. McFiliker is listed at 5'8 by those same sites. Regardless, very few players Marchands size succeed in the NHL. McFiliker is the same size or, more likely smalller.

Fair enough, I will ignore literally every article and sports site out there whom all claim he's 5'9" and instead accept your measurements as fact.
Just one question though, did Marchand get really uncomfortable when you initially broke out the tape measure?

3. What are you loving most about living abroad?
I like checking out new places and being a tourist traveling around Switzerland. Even though I’m a guy fashion has been a hobby and everything seems to be ahead here so it’s cool to explore.
lol.

Unless you have parents that spoil you, I sincerely doubt you have the ability to spend a healthy amount on high-end clothing regularly.
And purchasing (collecting) new clothing is no different than collecting baseball cards or listening to music. It's just a very expensive hobby.

Just ask Aaron Ward (Zegna suit, Faconnable shirt, Burberry belt, Armani tie):

But aren't hockey players just big, sweaty brutes? Actually, we're pretty fashion-forward guys. It's the heavy European influence, guys who've come over to the country. There's actually kind of a competition in the locker room to outdo the next guy in terms of getting dressed. I spent so much time in Detroit [on the Red Wings] with Russians. Those guys love Prada and Versace. Igor Larionov used to say, "If you look like a professional, you'll be treated like a professional."

you got me, except he didn't freak out because he was sleeping when i pulled out the tape measure
so is it 5 9 or 5 10? because I would have given it to you if you had said 5 9, but the 10 caught my eye
ya, you probably should ignore them and perhaps just take the word of people who have been face to face, like myself, or Dellstrom

Take a look at him beside Recchi. They're shoulder to shoulder, and Recchi is listed at 5'10".
Mayhaps all hockey players heights are exaggerated then.

Every time I look at that picture, I just wish there was a way to squeeze Thomas in it and you'd have my "thank you for the cup" picture haha
