Total homer vote for Cam Atkinson. Maybe not 'tear up' the league, but he'll definitely turn a few heads.

For next season, here's who I think will be really, really good:
Taylor Hall, Tyler Seguin, Subban, Evander Kane, Tavares and Kopitar.
Then it could be... Jody Shelley

I'm sorry but I can't agree with Duchene. I just can't. Aside from speed, other areas are lacking. Big time.

Crosby and Malkin for me, although the Edmonton kids should be pretty interesting to watch as well.

Can't wait to see what Parise does in Minny.

Atkinson has looked great in the AHL and for USA in the WC. Being arguably the best natural RW on the Jackets, I think he will get a chance this year to play some big minutes in the top 6. He's tiny, but definitely has the skill to put up decent points. Already noted him as a sleeper late round fantasy pick when we get the NHL back.

If there's a shortened season I think Jagr could benefit. Not exactly tear it up but I don't think around PPG is out of the question if they play say 41 games or less. He needs to stay healthy tho.

Jeff Skinner: now that Semin and J. Staal are on the team, this will open up more space for him.

Tyler Seguin: great player on a good team. Boston has lots of depth in their forwards, so it is hard for a team to try and shut down one player.

Anze Kopitar: LA had the second worse offense in the league last year, yet Kopitar set a career high in assists and was nearly a PPG player.

Segs will continue to ruin lives, along with Geno and Crosbooty.

I was hesitant to list Sid because he hasn't played in a while, but then I remember November 21, 2011 and oop.

HMs would be Stammer, John Tavares, and Eberle.

Im going with Henrick Zetterberg.

1) He has already shown the ability to dominate the NHL with 80, 85 and 92 point seasons.

2) He's Defensive ability and effort is on par with any Selke winner.

3)He is ripping up the Swiss league. Posting better numbers than Seguin, Tavares, Nash Thorton.

4) Damien Brunner is currently his winger and will get an opportunity to do so in the NHL. They have shown phenomenal chemistry together and built a close relationship. These two will carry their connection into the nhl. Oh ya, did i mention Brunner, with a whopping 48 points in 27 games, is out scoring any NHL player in any league?

5) Zetterberg has battled injuries the last few seasons. The swiss league can't be as taxing as the NHL; He will be coming back rejuvenated.

5) Even if Brunner's game does not translate into the NHL, Zetterberg will be playing with quality players such as Datsyuk, Franzen, Filpulla and Nyquist

Except there is hockey, and Kopitar is playing in a country he played in before and his brother his on the team.

Matt Read is younger and in a new country and is out performing Kopitar.

Funny though people keep saying Malkin, he's not even best player on his KHL team and routinely is invisible and gets points thanks to great plays by Mozyakin.

Im very interested in seeing the J.Staal/Skinner combo. Staal will make room for Skinner and Skinner will provide tools on wing that Staal hasn't ever really had as a set linemate (healthy roster assumed). So I think those two will have a big impact on the league once it starts again.

If the league gets more powerplays like after the last lockout, then expect the Sedins to be in the 100 points territory again. Two of the best powerplay players in the league.
