Don't quote me, but I believe he was on a vet roster plus players don't play as many minutes over there. It is more of a team involved thing than it is about individual stats. Of course there may have been a bit of him just not playing well, but it seemed like more of a combo of things than just one thing. Maybe someone else will know better though.
And some crazy scores in the NBA tonight. Spurs set a franchise record of 19 3 pointers
Belinelli went off. I knew he would hit that shot at the end of the first lol. I root for the Knicks slightly less than the Nets (my hometown Kings I don't really follow as much anymore) so I really like their start so far.
Knicks-Bulls officiating has been terrible for both teams. Just an ugly affair. The defense has been good on both sides but sloppy too.
Knicks never win in Chicago. I'd love to know their record there since the late 1980s.
Just like that -- perfect example...Chandler just shoved Noah to the ground and nothing called
And Smith isn't the problem tonight...Friggin Felton has taken 30 shots and hit only nine.
Wow, you're right! I looked it up on ShrpSports and started with the 88-89 season to the present counting playoff games. Knicks are 10-54 in Chicago since then and 3-18 since March 2001. Ugly. I'm fascinated with teams' records in different buildings
Hawks are on fire right now. Beat Grizzlies last night, something like a 15-0 run, could have been more. Tomorrow another big game for them against Miami. 9-1 in last 10, no team apparently has shot over 50% against them this season. Impressive.
What's going on in Portland? They got mediocre really fast.
Young team, new coach, no bench. (Seriously, their best bench player should be a 10th man.)
Aldridge and Lillard don't have great chemistry yet, often times only one or the other has a good game, and they need both to play at an all-star level. Batum is playing a bigger role, but still to streaky and passive. Hickson is a great go to bench big, but he's not a natural center.
And to top it off, they are quite poor defensively. Lillard does not yet know how to guard NBA level PGs. Matthews is a good perimeter defender, but he's not a game changer. Batum is too streaky, he is capable of guarding any SF, but often doesn't bother. Aldridge is best cast as the support big defender where his length and agility can be put to full effect. But he lack of strength means he can be bullied when he's ask to go man to man with elite post players. And Hickson is an energy rebounder who can be decent against most PFs, but is playing center where he can be out matched in height, length and strength. Leonard is their only true center and the future when it comes to guarding the paint, but he is still VERY raw.
