Well that exam was easy. List of 10 questions, pick and choose to answer 4, I had seen 3 of them before. was done the exam in 25 minutes. Then I'm kind of sitting there wondering if I should leave. Check over my work and stuff, 5 minutes later (so 30 minutes into a 2 hour exam) I decide to hand in my paper. The prof says 'you're done already?'. Got me worried but I'm still confident in that exam

My thoughts too.

You won't be friends with many people from high school once it is over anyways, don't fret about it. Coming from a big school where my grade had over 500 people, I only talk to 4 regularly. Everyone else is from work/university/other.
I was so syched to see the schenn brothers together and see how jvr plays for us.
if he can play to the potential he is capable of, this trade will be a great win. I liked this trade because he's another player who performs in the big game, aka playoffs. Lupul was the other one burke acquired based on that and his skill.
I feel both will play better now. But who will JVR have chemistry with? If he's a winger that is. Kessel and lupul are set, who would Jvr be good with?
That trade involved 2 players who hadn't lived up to expectations for their team and fills each teams need. Win for each team in that regard.
I think we got the better player too Yet to be determined. Looking forward to seeing him play, maybe at center
Has to pull a miracle for that. Phil Kessel Imo can play better center than JVR lol.
However agreed, I feel like we got the better player, particularly if we see him performing to the level he is capable of.

I can see him going well with Either Kule/Grabo or Kadri/Frattin
Although I feel the Kule/Grabs line would be better as he would be the designated scorer, as well as it will also allow Frattin to be the designated scorer on the 3rd line

Designated scorer? This isn't NHL 13 where you pick one guy to score goals with

I disagree. They played great last year but we haven't seen Kessel + JVR yet, they could be better. One of the reasons I thought Lupul and Kessel played well together was that Lupul could finish Kessel's passes, one thing that Kessel hadn't had in the past. JVR is a pretty big body who I think has better boardwork(?) so if he crashes the net a lot I don't think there will be much of a difference between him and Lupul offensively. The improvement comes from JVR being better defensively (or so I have heard).
With the 3rd line becoming our shutdown line (the addition of McClemant), that means Grabo and his linemates in theory may be getting sheltered minutes. Lupul + Kadri flanking the wings with Grabo between them getting sheltered minutes personally intrigues me. JVR - Bozak/Connolly - Kessel being the top line.

I think he'd be best suited alongside Grabo and Kulemin. Those two have enough chemistry as it is, but adding a big body in JVR will help tremendously (mainly if he's actually able to use his body and not play like Victor Hedman).
(following up on Grant here...)
It wouldn't surprise me to see Carlyle throw Steckel/Bozak/McClement out and switch either one off for JVR the first chance they get. JVR/Lupul could carry the majority of the play along the boards and pick out Kessel for crispy one timers. Best of both worlds.
