Not totally true. Under the tiebreaker rules used in 2004, we only needed either a Jets or Broncos loss, not both. We got the help we needed, but the Jets lost after the Bills game had gone final. They were still playing to win, but who knows if knowing the Bills had lost affected the game. Had the Bills won and Jets lost, the Bills were in regardless of the Denver score. There are plenty of archived threads on TSW that break down the tiebreaker situations in detail. Painful reading...

I'm at the point where I don't think they should blow it up anymore, just demote Gailey. If he were OC he wouldn't get situational authority. No head coach with a brain would let him run a play with the game on the line that gave WR a route hes never ran before,
Not having Wood is probably killing the screen/draw game...but you gotta run some draws to keep the rushers honest. Get them running behind the play...Spiller just needs a crack and there's open field.
