Well that's looking like it for me in this league. Down 33 after a full team of underperformers screwed me this week. If I lose do I still compete for 3rd place starting in 2 weeks with another 2-week matchup?
Every week, Dave Richard does a short call in segment on the score and every week, some people call in with the dumbest, most ignorant questions that do not help anyone, such as one I heard today:
"I need help with my flex spot, need to start one of Doug Martin, Dez Bryant or Andre Johnson"
And the tone is so condescending like they called in just to show off.
A. It has to be a free league, don't even call in if it is a free league and if it isn't (or even if it is), you are playing with a bunch of 7 year olds if you have to bench two of those guys
B. Nobody is impressed, nobody knows who you are other than a big ****ing idiot
C. There is no right answer anyway, if all three of these guys are healthy, who knows which one will score higher. I'd go with the RB anytime but Richard recommended Bryant so that tells you what a crapshoot it is. You could ask 100 people and would still get no definitive answer.
Put a whoopin' on Ray Ray this week in our side bet. Two more weeks, I don't have the exact numbers in front of me but up I'm up a good 60-70 right now.
As for my other league, I am in the playoffs. What happens tonight between Gostkowski and Andre Johnson determines who I face in the playoffs. It sucks, one team is 13-1, the other 7-7 and it looks like I am going to end up a couple points short of facing the 7-7. However, you just have to get in to win and I did.
Even at 9-5, I ended up with the most points allowed in the whole league. You'd figure I'm due for a little luck on that end, hopefully it comes next week.
If I would've lost like I was about to against Ngdt(I got an extra 2 points on defense to win by .4 or something) then you would've made it over me. That is why I hate these things...I would be so pissed if I had the same record as the #1 seed and missed the playoffs.
Couldn't decide between Gresham or Heath Miller but decided to go with Gresham to make this Thursday night game more exciting. I think it is a tossup anyways.
