This team really needs to stop giving up goals in the first/last minute of periods.

MPS is playing well again tonight.

Schultz creates chances out of thin air. He's got a head for the game man.

You a closet Canucks fan or something ??

I hope you're watching because Schultz just made a very clutch defensive play in the Barons end to prevent a goal

Nope. It's physically impossible for a dman leading the league in scoring to be able to play defense

My lord the PK is still horrible. A guy should never be that open that close to the net, even on the power play.

As the next poster mentioned... Horrific d-zone coverage. Thats the difference between a d-man and a forward.. as a forward, you can have a good shift, a bad shift, be all over the map- as long as one or two of the shifts result in production. As a d-man, if you have that kind of problem, you're not going far (unless maybe you're an offensive behemoth!)

It seems that Schultz is consistently a little lost while guarding the front of the net when the opponents have possession... he did just give it away behind the net a few shifts back too. Doesn't take too many of those types of plays for you to see the bench in the NHL. As soon as we get possession he's an all-star out there, great break-outs... He does have a smart stick, and hes not totally lost, but there are some serious gaps and inconsistencies defensively. Its funny, when we have the puck he looks energized - but when they have the puck he looks tired.

Some blame can go to the broken stick effectively making it a 5-3 but the coverage was definitely poor.

Not sure why Pitlick didn't give Teubert his stick?

And then rectified it by not allowing a quality chance.

Why didn't he pick up his own? Looked fine to me and he had plenty of oppurtunities

It was broken. I like what I've seen of Deck, good speed from the kid.

Hall takes a penalty for tripping but the Rampage also take one on the ensuing faceoff making it a 4 on 4.

4 on 3 powerplay for the Barons now after Lander gets boarded.

Why does San Antonio have better attendance than the Stars?

If that was one of the Sedins or Stamkos I'm not sure that he would have been capable of rectifying the situation with such ease. There are some mistakes that you just can't be making every night.
