Eh.... maybe. I'm not convinced any of Whitney's skills would translate. Zalewski had previous NHL experience with San Jose.
Devils kill off the PK.
3 games with San Jose! He had a great (albeit shortened, likely contributing to his numbers) 10-11 with Albany and got rewarded because of it. If Whitney has a lights-out season, I think he'd get a shot. I personally DON'T think his skills would translate, but if he keeps scoring, I think you need to give him a shot and see.
Oh, so THAT'S what's happened to Josefson's scoring.
Also, who the heck is Chris McKelvie?
He's a fighter, nothing more. He was actually pretty decent in the game I watched. He wasn't Janssen awful, as in he can't do anything but hit and fight, he's not going to wow you but he's not going to do anything wrong.
I really want to see if Whitney's skill translates to the NHL level. He's almost like Tedenby, but I think he's a lot smarter. He uses his teammates way better than Tedenby ever will, and he's not so much dangles as Tedenby is. I wouldn't mind trying him with Josefson-Clarkson, give him PP duties too on the second PP unit in the spot vacated by Henrique's graduation to the top PP unit.
With the shoddy wing depth we have, I think it's worth a shot.
Leach was hurt in the first period Saturday, that's why he was out. Also today Corrente was injured in the fight with Haley in the 2nd and did not play again.
Good and Good.

His hockey smarts are awful. I'm sorry but Whitney>Tedenby, in my eyes, Tedenby is a bust. He oozes of skill, and is arguably one of the best skaters but no smarts, whatsoever. I say package him any way you can for a forward.

It's in the video, it seems like the former is true. I'd rather McPherson or Kelly play, they look like they MIGHT have a future, whereas Corrente is just done. Package Corrente, Tedenby, and Tallinder in a deal.
