And I just emailed them to make sure and they said it is. I might get a pair in the West Balcony.

Legroom in the renovated MSG in general (IMO) is worse. I sat in 112 row 17 (2 seats from aisle to 113) for a knick game recently and every time someone walks through, they knock the cup off of the cupholder spilling the drink. I sat in 105 for rangers last season and it was tight. I walked through the Upper Bowl at the knick game and thought the sightlines were really good. Legroom however was about the same or worse. Even in the Gallery front row, I didn't' think the legroom seem alll that much. The TVs can also distract as they are literally directly in front of some seats. The glass was also a bit higher than what I would like. In 223, the Gallery glass is much higher because it's the press area. It may interfere with some lower rows - just a maybe.
Dad says if I can pay for half the season tix, we will get some for the new few seasons I also find that the leg room for me is a bit cramped in some areas but then some it's very nice, comfy. I miss MSG. Anyways, any new updates
It figures MSG spends hundreds of millions on renovations and they make the legroom a little tighter. What about the width of the seats are they tighter also?
I thought the trend was to make the legroom and seat width a little bigger in these new stadiums/arenas.

The trend is to pack the fans in like the sheep that they are.
the sheep that they are? maybe for basketball...including the casual fan. if the NHL misses an entire season...forget the sheep. i believe the fans will return but at a price. meaning that there will be less. most of us will be back, but i doubt in the amount they showed up in 2011-12

I sincerely doubt there will be anything less than a sellout at the MSG when this ends. How many people are on the wait list for tickets, either season or partial plans? Lets be real people the team is good and fun to watch right now. If the team was bad or even mediocre I would tend to agree but not right now.
Sat in 201 for the Knicks game tonight, I liked the sight lines from the 200s, I was in Row 2 and had a great view of the court and the end of the giants game on TV. By the way it was a little odd to look up and see the 2011-12 Atlantic Division Champs banner right over my head, kinda surprised they wouldn't wait for an on-ice ceremony or something..
Politicians are going crazy over people reselling the 12.12.12 concert. I thought the opening face of $150 was high but on stubhub a pair are starting at $700/ticket.
But my question is, isn't the Madison Club at $50,000 per seat for all events on the west side of the arena? It seems like the stage is set on the west side where the view is blocked and they aren't selling seats. Why would they do that?

I think the Madison Club is for every sporting event only. The stage is set up on the west end so that they could use the 9th and 10th floor luxury boxes on the east end.

Yep, I just checked and it's only for sporting events.
Just some randompics included the west balcony. The Arena is very nice, but some seats seems way too overpriced. This is from the Knicks - 76'ers, 4th game of this season I think.

Fixed. Those seats were there last year and they are great, especially for hockey. The atmosphere was a little dull, but I loved the view. And that last picture isn't the West Balcony.

Thanks I know all of them isnt, I just walked around the arena the first half of this game and took a couple of pictures, lol (wanted hockey those days of course ). Hasnt been there since the last Rangers game in 2011, so the whole arena was new to me.

I agree the leg room is terrible. We were relocated to sec 119 & we were miserable with the leg room.
