Kucherov is probably an upgrade on Jevpalovs, but is it worth it? Blainville fans have said he's been very good... CB is an option but Sorensen is 18, so I don't know if he wants to play in that mess of an organization right now...

Hard to believe they'll trade Kuch, but you gotta do what you gotta do

3 GM's in the Q say Kucherov has been put on the trade market by Roy.
What why ?

Why is he keeping Sorensen ?

What can he get for Kucherov ?

I geuss that means Grigs stays ?

Leroux has talked a lot on RDS about how Roy and Sorensen's agent Claude Lemieux have a ''no-trade agreement''. Factor in that Sorensen is still going to be available to the Remparts next year and there are rumors that Sorensen would return home if traded to another team and there's your answer.

I think it would be a close call either way , definately debatable, regarding who would be the better choice to keep. Kucherov for the rest of the season or Sorensen for the rest of the season and next year when the team will likely be in a better position to contend. Remparts have struggled as of late due to injuries and their lack of depth. They have a solid core returning and will acquire more talent for whomever they trade. Maybe it would be wiser to be quiet at the deadline, besides trading Kucherov, and have a quality euro(Sorensen) for next season's run.Sorensen having a "no trade clause" helps the Remparts in the long run.To make a serious push they need to add a top 6 forward(Danault),depth forward(Clarke) and a top 4 dman(Oligny) which will be very costly. They wouldn't have too much left asset wise for trades next season.

Trade Kucherov is the most stupid idea since the Alexandre Néron trade!

Erne will not go with team USA at world championship.

Only Rioux (France), Grigo (Russia) and Sorensen (Sweden) will go.

Good luck to these 3.

Rioux is already go in France because it's the division I tournement from december 9 to 15.

Grigo will go in Russia next monday.

Probably in the next week for Sorensen.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Big trip for the Remparts this week in the maritimes.

PEI wednesday, Bathurst friday and Saint John saturday.

We need at lease 4 points on 6.

He is born in Paris when his father played for Viry hockey team, but he returned in Quebec with his family after and he played all it's minor hockey in Quebec.

His father Alain played for Remparts and Cataractes in the QMJHL between 1977 and 1981.

Axel have the two citizenship (Canadian and French).

A little surprised that Erne wasn't invited.

Hockey USA loves the kids who play in the NTDP at 17, 18... Could've played a factor here.

They still have a very strong team. Erne won't make the NHL next year. If they can get over the NTDP thing he will be a lock next season for team USA.

I wanted the moose to get Donnelly. He's not a big name or anything, but there's so few D avail, that when a shutdown guy like him (apparently) goes off the market, there's little options.... I'd atill like the Moose to pick up another D.

I would have liked to see Donnelly join Halifax too. He could win his second Memorial Cup in a row, and celebrate by heading up to the Citadel and firing it out of a cannon.
