Yep Nolan definitely uses familiar actors. Also, Bale and Caine in The Prestige (great movie).

I woke up in winter wonderland today. Or all of MN did lol

So what are the ponds looking like? I wanna get out there and with this weather, even more so.

But I don't think it's been cold enough :/.. I don't even think cities have even started to turn baseball fields into rinks / fill outdoor rinks with water yet.

Watched Brave, Lawless, and the Campaign last night/this morning. All were good.

And I just got a random text from someone in Staten Island, New York, and they know my first name. First text from them was: "hello (my name)". I replied "Hi. Who is this?" and have no response yet after ~5 minutes.

A little freaked out but I'm going ignore it and to go have a snowball fight with my little brother.

Personally, I didn't like Lawless. It was just stupid.

Finally saw Dark Knight Rises. Thought it was kinda lame. Loved TDK. Just was bored. Also knew what the last shot involving Batman was going to be as soon as it was foreshadowed.

Highlight of my day has been watching my sister's puppy discovering a large amount of snow for the first time and going from "this stuff is the devil" to "holy **** snow is awesome!"

Yep, live an exciting life.

I don't think it's physically possible for NBC to fit more promotional considerations into that Sunday Night Football intro.

That's the only place they can put them. The NFL bars commercial endorsements DURING NFL games except during (duh) commercial breaks and halftime. So they gotta cram em in there while they still can.

Had essentially the same 'highlight' today. We got a couple of beagle pups this summer and today was their first snow. It was hilarious watching them running around trying to catch snowflakes, pulling at bent shrub branches and then getting covered in snow when it all fell on them, and just walking around sniffing with their noses buried 6 inches deep in the snow. They are so worn out from chasing each other through the snow for hours that they're now fast asleep and snoring.

Ran to the store for something a bit ago, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that while all the other cars in the parking lot were covered in half melted and re-frozen snow, mine had very little on it, and none of it had turned to ice.

Handles at least okay on slippery roads too... it just has trouble where it's all snow. I imagine I will learn a lot more about this cars performance in winter conditions as winter finally sets in... but here's hoping we get one like last year. Nice and mild. Hopefully mild enough that we dont have much, if any snow on the ground, but not so mild that the ice rinks dont have to wait until February to open.

I think that was how long some people had to wait last winter because of how warm and snow-less it was.

Test...

JK.

Wife had long, but successful labor. 20 hours, 2.5 of which she was pushing. Very stressful. Both mom and baby are healthy. Baby's name is Calvin Michael and he weight in @ 8lbs 9ozs and 21 inches long.

He's beautiful, and fun. He's opening his eyes more often, and just taking it all in.

I appreciate the well wishes, and I did not feel sexually harrassed at all. Sorry it's taken so long for the update. I know you were all holding your breath.

Congratulations. That's an awesome name by the way.

WHAT? Winter is not winter if you don't have an RWD! The best part of snow and slippery roads is the loose back-end and having an excuse for sliding/drifting in the intersections and small roads.

How can you not like it?

Congrats on the baby, good to see that both your wife and baby are healthy and doing fine.

I just started using my new Mac today and already I see that I am unable to view Youtube videos that have been embedded here on HF. It says I'm missing some plugins but when I click to install the missing plugins it's unable to find any of the right ones. I tried downloading the latest version of Java but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Cause I'm a pansy when it comes to those things lol

And it's so annoying when you're at a red light with like 30 cars behind you. And once the light goes green, u have to press the gas ever so slowly in order to make sure you don't fish tail smh

Switch to HTML5.

Should work, as modern browsers support. Apple is known to have problems with Flash.
