KalPa was full ****hole today against Kärpät.. they should to practice how to stay calm even tho it's 6min left the game.. first Kerman takes 5+20 for high sticking and then assistant coach takes match penalty for spraying water on a linesman.... that's stupid I say. Right team won anyways
If hifk didn't have Ortio they would be nearer Ilves right now
Hopefully the players can turn it around soon and get a playoff spot
I remember HIFK being in a similar situation last season, they managed a late turnaround and finished 3rd (then proceeded to get skull****ed by Jokerit) I'm praying to Joe Pesci that they manage a deeper play-off run this time around.
That was "Hawaii Hockey" in Jokerit - Kärpät...I was cursing the whole game... mostly against defense and Tuohimaa but nice to see Jokerit getting the win in the end.
Tomorrow 1600 Jokerit fans will travel to away game against TPS. They will own that place. Again.
Daniel Brodin still on the fourth line while being the best forward in the last couple of games. I mean at least give the whole damn line more icetime.
One other thing that makes me sad is to not see Patrik Parkkonen in the defence more often since he could likely even do something on the powerplay.
Also not so sure about Eero Elo and Joel Armia together on the same line, but at least we aren't putting multiple centers on single lines now like we did the few last games so there is some improvement.
"Justification of January" ("Tammikuun Tasaus") and Ässät picks Blues as the team they want to play two games against. No idea why they didn't pick HIFK, since it would had been a way more exciting match-up, which would had resulted in more attendance and Blues has been a tougher opponent anyway this season.
The pairs:
Pelicans - Ilves (pe 18.1. Tampere, la 19.1. Lahti)
TPS - Lukko (pe 18.1. Rauma, la 19.1. Turku)
Ässät - Blues (pe 18.1. Pori, la 19.1. Espoo)
HIFK - HPK (pe 18.1. Hämeenlinna, la 19.1. Helsinki)
Tappara - Jokerit (to 17.1. Tampere, pe 18.1. Helsinki)
Kärpät - KalPa (pe 18.1. Kuopio, la 19.1. Oulu)
SaiPa - JYP (pe 18.1. Jyväskylä, la 19.1. Lappeenranta)
Turris has a reputation of beeing primadonna. Kärpät has the toughest travel schedule in the league but whining about other things afterwards just shows Turris' character.
Nothing to do? Well did Turris even ask his team mates or management? or how hard did he find out what the city has to offer?
Nobody talked in sponsor blah blah? Finland ain't small talking country....we look shy often but most understand english pretty good.
ABC food ain't good true but if he disses all food...then he ain't searching and trying different places much or Kärpät chef just sucks.
Every lockout there is some dbag NHLer with these comments...NHL life is so sweet and sparkling...I hope NHL starts soon so this Turris can get back to the wonderful lifestyle of his.
