We are organizing a most handsome player in the league poll tournament for the poll board, could you guys give me 3 of the most handsome players on the team?
We are doing a 68 player tournament and are doing 2 from each team with 8 players as wildcards.

Apparently we have a hideous team. I guess maybe Hedman, except for that birthmark. Don't the girls like Vinny as well?

On Saturday, the German top league combined hockey and football craziness by staging a hockey game where masses of fans tend to go the most: a football stadium.
The Nuremberg Ice Tigers wrote hockey history with the first DEL Winter Game at Stadion Nürnberg, a stone’s throw away from the ice rink the team usually plays.
An announced sell-out crowd of 50,000 spectators came to watch the game against reigning champion Eisbären Berlin – including 6,000 to 7,000 Eisbären supporters who made the 450-kilometre journey to Nuremberg – and to break the single-game attendance record for a league game in Europe that was previously held by Helsinki.

Germany also holds the all-time attendance record for a hockey game in Europe which was set on 7 May 2010 when 77,803 spectators watched Germany win the opening game of the 2010 IIHF World Championship against the United States at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

Hey look, it's yet another Visnovsky/Islanders drama!
Arthur Staple, the guy who first broke the story, wrote
Quote:
#NHL dep. commish Bill Daly, via email: "We have an agreement with the KHL that would preclude Mr. Visnovsky from continuing to play in the KHL once the lockout is officially lifted. I assume that agreement will be respected."
I sort of feel sorry for Visnovsky. It really seems like he doesn't want to play for the Islanders, yet everyone is basically forcing him to if he wants to play professionally.
Lubo should have been in the CBA meetings solely to pitch ideas about how players (he) shouldn't have to play for a team they don't want to (Islanders)
