Why do that when you can have first line minutes with Denmark?

Beauty of a goal.

I like how he was in the highlights quite often, seemed to be in the right place. Like that they have him screening the goalie a lot.

Let's hope his defense is at least acceptable so AV doesn't end up benching him.

He's not joining you junior team, but the senior team, which will be playing training matches during the league break.

The new coach seems to be trying to stack the 1st line and playing it a lot, which should be good for Jensen since he has been on that line for the last two games, and played over 23 minutes in both games. The old coach seemed to be more about having 3 balanced lines, which all three played around the same amount of time, which caused Jensen to be stuck on line with lesser teammates.

From the two interviews, I really liked how he talked a lot about breaking his slump and getting back to getting on the scoreboard. It's also good to hear that he is working a lot on his defensive game, since he knows he'll need to be an allrounder to make the next level. He also got a lot of praise from captain and former NHL'er Dick Tärnström.

The "who?" prospect Honzik actually had a 31 save SO today. I really hope he can turn his season around. Goalies never have a linear development so here's praying

I actually like his tools from what I've seen, maybe the kid just needs some confidence?

The thing about Jensen that is also very encouraging is that most of his goals aren't softies that went in because it was against a goaltender in a lesser league (vs. NHL). A good proportion of his goals would have went in even if it were against a NHL caliber goaltender.

I'd be shocked if they're embroiled in the Gov 1310 thing.
This is really starting to bug me. It's pretty much the only thing you can't find info on on the the internet. Has anyone tried to reach one of the intrepid Canuck reporters about this via the twitters? (so I don't have to try and remember my twitter password) I assume Botch is too busy doing epic reviews of grilled cheeses or something.

I tweeted Tyson Giuriato about it a couple days ago, but as usual when I tweet him I got ignored.

Balls. Well hopefully it made him aware at least and he's looking into it.

In other news, was just trolling the arrivals level of the airport on my lunch hour (not creepy, I work there. Not that creepy at least.) Got to see The Nuge, some tall kind with him I didn't recognize, Shinkaruk, Oulette and Reinhart. And Jermaine Franklin!! No Frankie Corrado though Maybe he heard he has no chance

edit: Important update. I think the tall kid was Laurent Brossoit.

Blake Price just tweeted me back saying he was not even aware, so we will see if he looks into it now.

Not a lot of time for that stuff when you have to look up celebrity birthdays everyday.

So it's either turn pro without a degree or finish college without a hockey career for McNally? I don't think he can afford to take a year off at his age. Assuming this is indeed over that huge cheating scandal.

All the players involved in that scandal were made to take a year off. So if that's what it is, he can return if he wants to but it would pretty much spell the end of any hockey ambitions he might have. He's 21 so he can't play junior anymore and the other options are pro leagues which would void his college hockey eligibility or taking the time off completely.

Hmm, if he was involved with that cheating scandal, I wonder if he is also expelled from Harvard or only off the team? If I were him I would turn pro now, you only get one chance at it, meanwhile you could always go back to school later in life.
