Missed it cause I had an exam, but big win over Lev yesterday! Nice beating Czech teams Janus with 34svs, Visnovsky with a goal, nice to see. Of course it's Chara scoring for Lev .

great game. Chara got some boos, giving all the Slovan haters one more opportunity to jump on anti-Slovan bandwagoon and pepper internet discussions with some proper hate. "Chara didnt deserve that" is their current agenda. Good old times are back
The only reason why Šatan doesn´t win the No.1 Whiner award in Slovak hockey, is that one of his current teammates can be even more whiny than him.
While I obviously respect both players achievemnents, they can both be quite whiny and I can´t imagine some of our other players like Chára for example to speak publicly in the way as those two do.
it was devastating, but clean hit. Nothing that should earn penalty, but definitely deserved retaliation of Satan´s team-mates - and thats imo the main reason why Satan is pissed.
Satan pointed out at lack of grit earlier, after Janus got levelled and there was noone who would be able to respond. Slovan managment didnt adress that need and cant wonder their star spends half of the season injuried.
Damn I was watching some KHL today, but failed to notice Slovan was playing. Doing the job against the weaker teams beating Avtomobilist today 3-1, Hudacek with a pair of assists.
That's 1 of the 8 wins I am hoping for in the final 14 which should assure a playoff spot (80pts). 7 of the last 13 now! Gets harder from here though, with Malkin, Mozyakin, Gonchar and the best team in the East, Magnitogorsk.
And with the lockout over, Slovan are officially screwed. Awesome.
Most teams are going to hurt with the lockout ending, don't think Slovan is screwed per se, but it's gonna be a hella tough without Sekera and Visnovsky on the blueline...
I'm guessing they will be available for today's game, one last home game for the NHL guys?

Couple that with Tabáček and Štajnoch out injured, and the curious absence of Ďatelinka means that Slovan's blue line depth is completely gone. Trška is serviceable as a seventh defenceman, but apart from that, Luža I think is still out with a concussion he picked up at the WJC, so Trška will have to play top six minutes.

How long are Tabacek and Stajnoch out for? Luza should be back soon, it sounded like it's a minor concussion, not that he is a super unreal option, but still. I guess it's time for Boumedienne and Sigalet to step up

Boumedienne's left the club. He hasn't played since November and there's no sign of him coming back from what I've been told. It's the sort of scenario that they had with Hostikka, where the player's gone, all the fans know he's gone, but the club haven't made it official.
Sigalet's done pretty well when paired with Visnovsky, while I don't like Michal Sersen at all, but he'll have to improve with the extra minutes.
There's been little news of the Tabacek and Stajnoch injuries. They both came in the same game against Dinamo. Tabacek looked like he picked up a concussion or a head/neck injury as he got checked to the head, while Stajnoch re-aggrivated the pelvis injury he picked up in early December.

Oh. I didn't follow it nearly as much in December, I had exams, guess I missed that.
Well, we'll see I guess. Could be trouble, but many teams will be missing guys they have come to depend on, so it might work itself out.
If I can find a stream today will be the first game I will get to see in about a month (I've seen about 6-10 so far this year)...
