And I'm not really a fan of Tyler Wright in general. It's like when we added Chris Clark to player development last offseason. Sure he's been around the game but eh... he's Chris Clark.

I could definitely see Davidson as the next Jackets GM in the next 1-3 years.

you realize he is the president right, why would he want to move down to GM ?

Mike Priest is actually the Club President and alternate Governor

John Davidson is President of Hockey Operations and alternate Governor

Priest directes the business operations and JD handles all competitive issues and reports directly to JP McConnell.

Scott Howsen remains as GM and reports to JD.
