Hyperbolic musical statement that's already been stated here and will be stated again:

Nothing, just nothing, beats Celine's "O Holy Night."

I really don't want to go buy dinner from some place, but I'm going to just because it'll give me something to do for a half hour.

Thanks guys... however it is not exactly about me. My girlfriend has stomach cancer. They think surgery can get it. But I feel like I may need to donate/help in that way.

I appreciate the well wishes from you guys.. It made me feel better, but I didn't tell her about my HF affair But yeah...thanks guys. I wish I knew more of how to treat, and maintain... except that high O2 does something for it. What do they exactly do in cancer treatment institutions like Roswell and Robert Wood Johnson, etc?

Depends on the stage, how early they caught it, if it can be operated on, etc. If they caught it early and they can get all of it, she might be just fine.

Well, see it's complicated and I fear for the worst. They got rid of it, but now some is coming back. So, How would that go? I'm sort of educated, not extremely though. Would surgery then be an option?

All of this. Plus sometimes a biopsy is done (other times it's done at the same time as the surgery), and analyzed by pathology to specify even further type/grade (I'm not sure if they use TNM or if they have a special staging system for stomach cancer), which can impact treatment decisions.

Yes, multiple surgeries can happen. Sometimes they miss part of it, sometimes it can grow again. I've heard of people having surgery a number of times over the span of a decade. It's just very dependent on the person, where the cancer is, how fast it comes back, etc.

Just a heads up. IF you have this open in a tab and you hear some random audio about Doctors against yawning it's coming from this site. It's a little video that hides in the bottom right hand corner with audio forever.

I had like 10 tabs open and panicked.

I was listen to music really loud and the ad volume was slightly higher than that. I may be partially deaf.

Wow. That's pretty scary. Good luck to you both.

Maybe if you change your username to something Sabres related it would help. #lightenthemood
