So you follow up a bad proposal with something even worse? Yes, that makes sense. From a Hawks fan nonetheless? It was not even an Avs fan. Clearly making an even worse proposal balances things out. Adding last years 2nd overall pick and calder winner should make everything right!!

I have to believe Chicago would move Keith before Seabrook, Seabrook has looked better the last couple years imo.

In fantasy land, I'd move O'Reilly + Elliott/Barrie + 2nd/3rd for Keith.

Right, I get where you're coming from but...nah. I wouldn't even give up that first. My fellow Av fans can make that deal if they want but I would much rather keep RoR at age 21, then 3 years of Seabrook and then.....? Does he re-sign with the Avs? For SURE??? No one knows.

So unless we're challenging for a Stanley Cup within the next 3 years which is a possibility but I wouldn't say that it's a certainty, I'm not making that deal.

I'm addressing holes in our lineups with good trades and good free agent signings but I'm certainly not creating a hole just to fill another.

Now if we HAVE to trade RoR, that's another matter entirely but I'm pretty sure he'll be back with the Avs, signed to a long-term contract once the season starts...(if it starts).

PHX would never even consider OEL for ROR, and I highly doubt Winnipeg would trade us Enstrom either, even if we added. I love ROR, but he's not worth that much. Especially OEL.
