Loui Eriksson joining Nash and Thornton in Davos, according to he's agent per Expressen.
Not a bad first line.

The players are being cautious and the teams over there are doing the same. They understand these guys are there to play and stay in shape. If they gets bumps/bruises they will take days off to stay fresh. People need to relax.

Yeah but they only called Eriksson because Nash is again injured, so they won't play togheter tonite. Don't know really the term in english, maybe you understand online translated: thigh disjunction(?).
Del Zotto plays tonight for Rapperswil, after the lost game on Sunday and some injured defenders the Coach made a change in the lineup.
Here something Off Ice, Swiss Quiz with Del Zotto and Spezza:

According to Marcel Kutch Rick Nash will be out for one week because he re-aggravated his groin issue over the weekend.

This is bound to happen before everyone freaks out. Players who haven't played a lot get sore groins because they aren't in tip-top shape

Wait until you see how many of these happen once hockey gets started again, whenever that may be.

Yep, it is going to be scary how many players have to get shut down for multiple games to rest sore groins

That's why he's in Switzerland.

He should just come back to New York. The lockout will be over by the time he recovers from his injury.

These "groin pulls" or "groin strains" are nothing more than these guys pushing too hard because they are not in regular season shape. That is the exact reason why these guys are over in Europe playing (besides a side income) to begin with.

Nash is heading back to New York.
Quote:
Locked out New York Rangers' forward Rick Nash has left HC Davos of the Swiss League and is returning to New York after aggravating a groin injury.
According to the New York Post, Nash is heading home for "precautionary reasons" to be examined by Rangers' team doctors.

Ah well, he's got another nine months before he'll need to worry about it.

Here's one tweet, though source is unknown; sounds correct though:

@nhlupdate The Rangers team doctors see patients besides NYR players in their private practice. Nash will pay for the Drs visit.

A bunch of Rangers were bartending on Staten Island during the aftermath of Sandy. This is one guy's story.

Not only Rick Nash is back in NYC but Michael Del Zotto is back as well.

Nash and Del Zotto should stay here for good. They are too important to the Rangers to risk injury in Europe due the lockout

Can't blame these players for hurrying back home the moment a minor injury strikes. They know the NHL is still their meal ticket despite all of its problems.
I would love to get more information on what happened with Ryan McDonagh in particular. I can only speculate he didnt enjoy the amenities provided by the KHL.
