Worse, after 15 games last year, Antoine Kombouaré, without Ibrahimovic (who has scored 13 of PSG's 24 goals this season), without Thiago Silva, without Verratti, without Lavezzi and without Van Der Wiel (who has sucked like crazy) had 5 more points than Ancelotti this year.

Crisis is ON big time.
Rumors (and I stress the word rumors) are that the qataris are ready to say goobye to both Ancelotti and Leonardo.
They've contacted Guardiola who has refused to come now, but who has interest in coming next summer. Wenger and Mourinho are on the short list.
To finish the season, Gerets could be called. Makelele is also a possibility, but the qataris would rather fire everyone, assistant coaches included.

To replace Leonardo, the qataris might recall Denisot, who was president of PSG when they were in the CL semi final (in the 90s).
I love it. I hope PSG becomes a big lesson to all those who want to build a team like that. Problem is they have too many players I like, Pastore, Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic, Verratti.

btw, Guardiola shouldn't even be a rumour. He and Ibrahimovic will never work together again. I don't know if anybody noticed.

I said so in the other thread about Guardiola.

Not the most impressive hattrick I've seen.

Nah, Menez, Pastore and Lavezzi did all the work, but Ibra was there to finish.
These 4 are starting to work very well together, and that has to be scary.

Ibrahimovic is such a magician when it comes to shooting. I was watching PSG vs Stade 49 and he almost scored on a cross from a partial bicycle kick with the side of his foot. Freak of nature.

Evilo, I think you said on some thread (not in this one, though) that you haven't seen much of L2 this season, but you didn't happen to catch Auxerre's game last night?

If you did (I didn't), what do you think of Yaya Sanogo at this stage of his career? He hasn't scored a lot previously, but is 4 goals in this game still an indication of his potential?

Auxerre seem unlikely to be promoted, so do you see Sanogo being good enough to play in L1 next season for another team? There's bound to be some interest from few lower half L1 teams at least, especially if he has a good latter half of the campaign.

He'll be 21 during the next season, so in order to improve, he should be in L1 by that age.

No, I haven't watched the game. But yeah, Sanogo's upside is immense.
Guy's been bothered by injuries and he's gone from a very young L1 players (17 year old) to someone who's still not in L1 at age 20 (93 born).
Auxerre will sell him this summer I'm pretty sure, if a L1 team asks for him.
The guy's fast, tall, strong, has great technique and is just deadly in front of the goal. Well, that was at junior level.
Yesterday, he scored 4 goals in 15 minutes (with the halftime in between the goals). He has 5 goals in 5 games this year because yet again, he's been injured.

When you have two good wingers who can cross the ball (like Auxerre traditionally has), he can be a huge weapon.

The key is to stay healthy. If he can, he's got the potential to be a superstar. If he can't (and right now, he hasn't been able to), he'll be a "what if" player.

Could give the scoring title to Ibra now. Even if he doesn't score any more goals for the season he might still win it.

20 goals in L1 is very very good. Usually enough for the scoring title.
But to score it in 20 games...

BTW, Aliadière is finding a real form right now. He's quietly becoming someone he was supposed to be 10+ years ago.

Ngando, Rennes' big prospect scored a goal on his first L1 touch today.

Henri Saivet is on his way to becoming a top top young player, like he too was supposed to be before injuries. He's now Bordeaux' go to player.

It's great to see players who were hyped as future superstars when 15-16 like Aliadière and Saivet finally becoming what they were supposed to be. Of course, Saivet's much younger, but I like Aliadière different moves. He scored after dribbling through 3 players last week and this week, he scored this (3rd goal of the game, 0:27) :

Or here (2:20) :
http://www.actusports.fr/34248/video...nt-rennes-2-2/

Aliadière stats so far : 9 goals, 6 assists.

I've been impressed with what I've seen from PSG these last couple of weeks. Defensively they have been WAY better than earlier in the season. They were impressive at Bordeaux last week imo. And I love Verratti, he reminds me of Xavi.

Both Lyon and Marseille lost this weekend. I think PSG will take off now.

Meh, they still are very inconsistent. They were pretty good against Toulouse in French Cup, then they had a BRUTAL performance against Lille but somehow managed to win and on Friday everything just went their way.

I still can't see the quality, when they're supposed to control the game and play in positional attack they're awful to watch. Both games against Ajaccio this season come to my mind - just sit back for 90 minutes and watch PSG struggle to create anything. Admittedly, they've sorted their defence out and they've done it without both Alex and Thiago Silva. Sakho's been impressive lately and even Armand and Camara managed a start.

It certainly helps that Marseille as well as Lyon are imploding, but still can't say I'm impressed with PSG.

BTW Matuidi is a beast, fantastic player. A bit underrated I reckon though the quality is definitely there.

They were impressive just before the winter break. They seemed to finaly play together. Since the break they're on and off.
Indeed, against Toulouse in Coupe de France they were good. I'd say they were amazing in fact. Without Ibra, they seemed to click, Verrati, Gameiro, Pastore, all were amazing.
Then 4 days later, Ancelotti benches all 3 and they suck against Lille.
This week, Pastore and Verrati started and they clicked again. They could have scored 6-7 goals really.

They're *this* close to being completely dominant. But Ancelotti needs to open his eyes : Pastore and Verratti bring something really interesting in terms of creativity, passing, and overall playing together.

Oh yeah and Sirigu has beaten all sorts of PSG clean sheets records.

Nah, he'll start training next week, it's going to take time before he's ready to play.

Our media reports that the Kenyan FA wants to convince Lille striker Divock Origi to play for them and not Belgium. The 17 y-old scored a goal during his D1-debut last week. Of course I've seen Origi Sr. play in Belgium, but I've never heard of his boy. Anyone knows if he has it to make it to the top?

PSG already playing tonight apparantly. Two days after international matches..

No Ibra though, he'll be on the bench. Looking forward to see more from Lucas Moura.

I haven't seen enough of him to make an opinion. I'll tell you in a few.

Thauvin displaying his skills against PSG.

If Bastia would've come back to tie it, that ref wasn't going to leave Paris alive for not sending Yatabaré off terrible decision that

PSG were flat, everyone was playing for themselves rather than eachother.
