Always have 90+ fitness on players.
Only buy shiny contracts.
Packs are useless unless you are rich or feel like spending real money.
Always have 95+ chemistry on team.
League is great way to make money.

No. The experiencepoints you get when you are doing stuff in fifa that goes into that red ring in your bottom right corner? Those are the points you use when buy this.
Go to the main menu and enter football world or whatever its called. There you can buy stuff for UT.
Started a Career mode managing Sheffield United, trying to build up to the UCL. Currently working way through first year, 4th in nPower League One in December. A bunch of players have really developed well for me so far. Two stars to Three stars already.
My Fifa 13 experience has been extremely frustrating. I am still routinely kicked off the server in FUT mode (strangely happens when there are no goals scored in the first 20 minutes; never get the boot if there is a goal scored by either team in the first 20 minutes).
Now I have completed 6 EAS FC challenges in a row without earing the experience points; I get the FCC, but not the points. Argh.

What striker do you think I should get (EPL)? I'm struggling to score online FUT. I can score fine in any other mode but in this one, nothing seems to go in. I'm thinking Van Persie, probably? I only have $27K though.

I want to improve Hangeland and Dzeko (Hernandez is the only guy I can score with these days - 34 goals in 54 games).

Kaboul is freaking terrible. I only have him cause I'm too lazy to sell hiim. I'll try Luiz maybe. Hangeland is pretty good, I was just meaning upgrade when I get the money for Kompany.
I started Garcia forever, I like Tiote better. Fellaini is incredible and Tiote complements him well. Running the 3-5-2 while having fast CDM's allow them to join the rush and play defense easily.

Garcia has a high defensive workrate, so basically is a CB, and with his 84 heading, I loved him.
