Love when people start picking against the Pats and expecting them to lose. That's when they're clearly the most dangerous. When they can play the lack of respect card.

WR Donte' Stallworth has been placed on season-ending injured reserve (ankle), team announces. His final play was 63-yard TD catch.

Shaincoe gone cut and he sucked and costs Mallet his first career pick and gave the Texans 7 points.

Branch comming back

I think this defense is going to be really good in a couple of years

Linebackers Mayo Prime of career Hightower and Spikes will have more EXp Got a good athletic core 2 of the three can cover and they all play well against the run.

Lineman Wilfork beast. Jones the third year is when the pass rushers come on to the scene he has allready been good Ninkovich has been so solid and consistant Love is very good at run stuffing.

This group front 7 is great against the run and when they blitz they are the best in the league.

Safty McCourty looks like a natural FS and the SS who knows

CB Dennard looks like he is going to be good If we resign Talib that would be huge

Love the Man to man play of the corner tandom.

The unit of those 10 out of 11 starting Defenders being allowed to grow together over the next 2-3 years, they have a chance to be very good and BB coaching them just adds to that.

I didn't see the game... Didn't realize he was back with you guys again (I'm a Browns fan).

Don't like him.

Deion Branch, come on down!!

Seriously though, they're bringing him back. Not surprised. I actually like it. Guy knows the offense.

We'll keep going back to guys like Branch as long as BB remains convinced (for good reason) not to go nuts after big time FA WR's, and as long as we can't manage to develop a WR ourselves that can play consistently in the Patriots' system.

In the meantime, Brady has rarely needed more than a show-me deep threat. There's a difference between a hole and a weaknes, and since even the Pats can't be great at everything, a few weaknesses probably won't kill us.

No offense, but I read this like it was a telegram sent via morse code. Instead of a period, it should have STOP at the end of each sentence.

But good points nonetheless. This defense has come along way and is showing it's potential.

IMO and I know it sounds harsh but in life there's some mistakes you just don't make.

Understandable- after all, he did take a life. With that said, there was an excellent chance that he was going to be found innocent of the DUI Manslaughter if he went to trial, but he plead guilty instead as he was deeply burdened by the issue and served his time.

The combination of him waking up that morning and driving (he went home from the previous night of drinking and slept evidently) and the guy not using a cross walk/responding to Stallworth's light flashing and horn leaning makes it difficult for me to write this off as anything other than an incredibly unfortunate mistake. He served his time, and Goodell loves him since he is a poster child of the leagues behavioral rehabilitation program (...even though he had no character concerns before his manslaughter)

I guess your perfect then?

He made a huge mistake and he stepped up and took full responsibility for it, something a lot of people don't do. He didn't hide behind his lawyer or pull the "don't you know who I am" that a lot of athletes do.

I suggest you read Shalize Manza Young's article from training camp. It explains the entire incident. Maybe then, you'll drop the holier than thou attitude.

They made the phrase bulletin board material famous. The Pats, specifically Brady, Hoodie and Vince thrive on this.

I will say it right here, the New England Patriots will be heading to New Orleans in February and will win. I firmly believe this. They are clicking at the right time and are finally playing as a full team.

Bring it on San Fran!

It's one thing to not be perfect and it's another thing to kill somebody IMO. I understand he tried to make right, and the article is very good, but bottom line whether he owned up to it or not, he mudered someone.

I love when the "old guard" lays the smack down on the up and coming teams...I love it.

I have to agree. I wouldn't boo the guy when he scored a touchdown, or turn my back to the field and read the newspaper as you tend to forget about those things in the moment....but to try to defind it is a little foolish, IMO.
