Rielly and Hamilton looked pretty good that period

binnington was very good, stopped all shots he faced and only let one shootout goal in on 5 or so attempts. Catenacci missed a wide open back door pass but other than that he has looked fairly good

Binnington really didn't see much action, but he was solid when he needed to be. Could have controlled his rebounds a bit better.

I didn't really notice Catenacci at all.

That's an HF favourite line. Two underagers and guys that fill the scoresheet in the CHL. No role players there!

Teams looked more efficient that period, hope the plays picks up even more in the third. Dumba's angling on the larger surface isn't good, he hasn't adjusted yet. Brett Ritchie and Thomas Wilson are going to bruise a lot of opposing players if they both earn their spot. Ryan Murphy at his third camp is an embarassment, lucky there's a period and two more games. Wonder if we'll see more D jump in next period. Mackinnon coming down on that left side looks like a bullet out there, he can cut in, beat you outside or slow it down and make a play. If he doesn't play centre he should definitely be on the left side.

Binnington was fine; he hadn't much to do, however. I haven't really noticed Catenacci to be honest.

Even as a wings fan I wouldnt say that yet. Paterson is young and not putting up great numbers in the O this year. He does get 40 shots a night it seems but dominant players make due with what they have to work withh.

Wouldnt surprised to see Paterson go as the 3rd goalie since hes younger and can be groomed for next year possibly if he has a really good camp

May come off as bias but pleasantly surprised with how good Pouliot has looked so far. He's a pretty controversial pick for us and its my 1st viewing of him. Really really like his game so far.

Man Drouin has electric moments.

Murphy always seems to try to do too much.... You can see the ability but I wonder if you want that risk on your Blueline.

Murphy, Sproul, Wotherspoon have all looked out of place on more than one occasion. Never thought Wotherspoon would be a factor but Murphy is a tad surprising. Still hard to see him getting cut with Spott behind the bench.

I'd love to see a line of Ritchie-Jenner-Wilson. Lots of physical play and work in the corners.

Anybody notice Monohan?

In terms of locks for this team. Hudon is one imo.
Spott has said as much as well and he's impressed tonight.

I would be absolutely shocked if Mackinnon sees time at centre in this tournament. It's either LW or 13th forward. Too good to cut, not good enough defensively to play the middle as an underager.

Wotherspoon seems to be trying to push the pace too much, perhaps feeling the pressure? He should keep it a bit more simple. Making some uncharacteristic mistakes.

Beauty energy line, I like it. Haven't noticed Monahan at all which is neither good nor bad. Drouin, as electric as he may be I don't think has a spot on this team. That rush on the PP where he tried to dangle three defenders is the difference between an underager and a 19 year old in this tournament.

I haven't seen that out of Sproul, really. He hasn't been locking guys down, but he hasn't been beaten really either. Which is probably acceptable because that's not his role. The huge point shot is his role.

Puliot has impressed me...

Drouin is not ready this year

Murphy has had 1 good year and 2 bad ones...he is really not impressive...
