You killed a deer and it did zero damage to your car?! Do you drive an Abrams?

I drive a 2004 Toyota Highlander. First issue I've had in a year-and-half of being a licensed driver (no issues with a permit). No dents. Not even a scratch. I was getting some gas before I headed out for the night. Brought the dog with me. I'm fine, the litte guy's fine, and the deer got his **** rocked. I win.

Was he lying down in the road and you ran over its head? I mean, literally no damage?

Full sprint across the road. I saw him as he was starting to get onto the road on the opposite lane. Hit the brakes and hit him. I heard a distinctive thud and felt it. No damage on the car. My dog and I are fine. I am very lucky. One of my parents would probably have taken the blame and said they were driving to not have the insurance skyrocket. The deer ran off, but I think he died a short time later. I hit that ****er solid.

A couple months ago my buddy hit a deer going 30mph in his two week old Jeep Liberty. 5k in damage, and he clipped the thing.

Well, that sucks for your buddy.

Just glad I didn't get injured. It's my birthday tomorrow. That would have sucked to spend the day in a hospital if anything bad happened.

The car is the same as it was when it was purchased 8+ years ago. I think I am just a lucky as hell.

Karma, baby. I always try to do the right thing. Hopefully you are right that the man above likes me. I actually show consideration and respect for others and try to be somewhat of a non-conformist when it comes to teen behavior. I am hoping it pays off.

I've never had it in the restaurant but they used to cater lunch at my last job, the catering wasn't too bad but I still feel a bad vibe from the brats working the catering. They had kids that would would spend 1-2 minutes finishing a text while you stood in front of them waiting for food.

I guess you just forgot about how a month or so ago, you came here bragging about how you laughed at some younger kid for falling down the stairs, or something along those lines...?

One of my buddies hit a deer about 2 months ago and totaled his car. He was driving his wife's car 2 days later and hit another one and totaled his wife's car. That's bad luck.

The 2nd deer went thru the window and hit him in the face. He was ok though and had no injuries.

Yeah, the breaded steak sandwich is what they are known for, highly recommend that. And an even bigger recommendation for the buffalo chicken sandwich to anyone who likes hot sauce.

For lack of better place to put this, JR is doing a book signing in DT Naperville today. Anderson's book store.

I once was drivng on the expressway and a deer stepped in front of a semi going about 70 MPH on the other side (opposite traffic parallel).

The image was the deer standing there and then it disintegrated into an explosion of red.
