And oh, the quality of those shots. Sinitsyn’s, at just 6:01 of the first period, was one of those gorgeous shots about which we’d heard tell, hard and fast and laser-accurate. He got a little help on the screen, of course, as Harvard’s Raphael Girard — who entered the game with something like a .936 save percentage, somehow — didn’t even react until the net was rippling behind him.
First period completed in the intra-squad game. Ritchie is playing with Strome and Hudon.
Ritchie looked good, smooth skating and strong forchecking. Neither team really generated much for offense. I stepped away for the intermission but apparently they had a quick shootout and Ritchie was one of two scorers.

Ritchie's looked seriously great. Amazing how far he's come in a year.
Stransky with another multi-point game tonight to 1 G and 3 A he's now tied for 10th in whl scoring, maybe not making czech wj team lit a fire under him

More politics than not making it. He would play a significant role on that team if he hadn't come over to play in Canada.
Some of you may have seen this but TSN has quotes from Brett Ritchie on yesterdays game aswell as from Canada head coach Steve Spott on Ritchie. By the sound of Spotts comments and Ritchie being scratched today, I think it's a safe bet he's on the team.
ricthie is really creating some serious hype, the more I see him play the more impressive he looks. Especially when he isn't playing with strome like in the subway series and last night where he just seems so dominant physically and offensively, and this years wj feels like it will be where we will see ricthie truly shine
Stransky is on fire! Hopefully the season starts this year I want to see what numbers stransky will put up after a training camp and a couple of pre season games with jagr
I'm no expert on how different the leagues are, but even with Ritchie's amazing play for awhile now, Stransky is only 10 points back. In 32 games apiece, Ritchie is 27g-23a-50p and Stransky is 18g-22a-40p. That says a lot about Stransky IMO.

Never knew he was only 10 points behind I know that whl is a grittier and more defensive league then the o and q which makes it even more impressive, and if nhl does return stransky might be only one of the three who might come to training camp can't see dallas pulling faksa and ricthie from wj's
