Been rumored all day. Amaro always goes big. For three years I like it. Hope it's true.

Were the Phillies really a mystery team this time? People here have been talking about Hamilton since March

What happens when he goes in a 4-30 slump and the boos drive him to drink again?

It gets combined with a massive cheesesteak binge.

lol Phillies now field the most overrated team in history. Lee, Rollins, Howard, Young and now potentially Hamilton. Oh lawd.

We get it. You hate Philly teams. Bu that doesn't mean every player we have is overrated.

That's not true, I very much like the Sixers.

I also don't hate the Eagles.

I don't hate the Phillies either, it's just that they boast some of the most overrated players in the game.

If the most overrated team in history has Halladay, Lee and Hamels, sign me up.

Well, I like watching Hambone, so heading to NL isn't great for that. But it's better for my O's, so I'll allow it.

Nothing overrated about Lee and Hamilton. Hamilton has baggage but that's about it.

Don't think the Phillies are overrated in the sense that they are any sort of lock to win the division, but if this group has another World Series in them, they better get it done, like, now.

For sure.

"This group" of course meaning Utley, Rollins and Howard.

Agreed. I thought a team and a market like that wouldve been a great fit for the player. Or a Seattle/Milwaukee/Baltimore/Toronto type destination.

Philly was right up there with Boston/New York/the Dodgers as places I thought Hamilton would steer clear of. If this signing goes bad, its going to go supernova.*

It isn't even that the market may add more pressure. Him & San Fran are kind of a perfect match. Add him to Buster Posey & that staff, that's screaming 2peat
