And you could pay as little as $1 for the Humble Bundle and get a Steam key for it. At this point they really might as well just give it away and hope that it generates some interest in the next Metro game.

anyone ever try that Mortal Kombat Kollection? its on sale for $2.99 on Greenmangaming. registers on Steam, too.
http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/ca/e...de-kollection/

use GMG25-CZPYL-D5MQ6 to drop the cost to $2.25.

i used to love that series back in the 90s ...man i spent so many quarters on all 3 of these games in the arcades. good times.

On PC it does, even the PSN remake of 1 and 2 don't run all that well online, but run okay offline. The real draw is 3, which I'm sure you can find better versions of.

Not sure I agree with that, I still play MK2, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter 2 HD and Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 quite a bit o.O

whoever told ya that it ran bad must have been running it on a terrible pc.

runs perfect in single player (tried out all 3 games) ...never got the chance to try it online (in my quick attempt to try online it found no other players).

bought it for $1.25.

i traded in 2 crappy games that i got for free off there before for 50 cents each.

good deal.

Has anyone seen the Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2. If that game goes on sale during the Steam winter sale (which it should) I might get it. Although CK 2 is the most complex game I've ever played. After playing the demo for an hour or 2 I still have no idea what I'm doing.

I bought the game for $10 and played a few hours. I started to get the hang of it a bit but I still got my ass kicked. I started playing other games though and haven't gone back to it. I'll probably go back to it at some point. Didn't play the GoT mod yet though.

Steam just launched the Steam Community Market

http://steamcommunity.com/market/

I put a TF2 paint on there for 30 cents and sold almost instantly, Steam didn't take a cut

I accept all donations of items from TF2 that you don't care about! lol

Probably will never have the ability to sell gift copies I'd assume. That would undermine their own prices and I doubt publishers would ever go for that.

Pretty much, that or selling games straight from your library, that's just not happening

Love CK2. I tried the Game of Thrones mod, and it's really well done, but I find the vanilla game more enjoyable.

My second game I started as a minor Baron in Scotland, and the day my original character's great grandson usurped the crown of Scotland through careful breeding/treachery was followed by me jumping up and down like I'd just won the Stanley Cup irl.

Then I realised that I now had to worry about the rest of my vassals doing the same to me while now also having to worry about the bigger picture (England and Norway). Keeping a nation together and peaceful is hard enough and any territorial gains should be greatly cherished (taking over part of Ireland and Wales was treated the same as taking 50 provinces in a Total War game).

The first play through should be seen as a tutorial, really. You won't understand what's going on, but by the second time you play things start to make sense.

As you can probably tell, I highly recommend it if you're into intrigue.

Interesting! Technically Steam does take a 5% cut, but the buyer pays it. I stopped playing TF2 about a year ago, but I still had some paint and crap laying around, including 2 white paints which is one of the more valuable ones. We'll see if they sell at $2.30. I have also been collecting crates since the beginning, so I'm curious if any of my vintage crates (e.g. #1, 3, 4, etc) are worth anything. Unfortunately you can't search for individual crate series yet, so it's hard to search.

Anyone have a review of RPG maker? I'm tempted to buy the new one (VX) and make my own JRPGS.

If it was any good, I would love to find 4 or 5 guys to make games and have us all go through each game. That'd be awesome.

Some reasonably impressive games have been made with it before. Never used it myself.

Make sure you read about the items before you put them on, salvaged crates are going for nearly 30$

I'd honestly consider looking at something like Unity first because of how accessible it is. The RPG makers can be quite useful if you have time to work with the custom code or want to make something that's not entirely serious. Really depends on the scope of your project too.

Unity is free though and has free tutorials, so it's a better sandbox to explore and see if you can create anything..and then moving on to RPG maker if you can't get what you want.

Steam account is currently worth $1685

Definitely starting to get up there. I think it was 1100 at the beginning of the year.

Yes!! Figured I'd pass this along, there has to be one other person that played the masterpiece that is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. here.
