I'm sorry if this has been brought up, or isn't even a problem anymore, but I'd like to go in a franchise mode, or dynasty or whatever, and be able to choose the opposing teams old jerseys.
Like, say I was playing as the Flyers and I wanted the 70's unis and I was playing the Pens the game makes it so the Pens play in the new gold uni's.
I haven't really played an EA sport game since NHL 06, but thanks to the lockout this is how I get my cravings, so sorry if they have addressed this problem in the recent years.

You can change the jerseys in both GM Connected, and regular offline Be-A-Gm mode. However, with GM connected, if you are playing the game OTP style, you cannot change the opposing jerseys. If you are playing versus style, there should be no problem.
I thought they forced your Be-A-pro character to wear a visor (helmet depending) in the CHL? Anyway, a player's visor (or lack thereof) is something that you can edit on your own.
Almost every junior player in the game is not wearing a visor when they are used in be a gm.

If it really bothers you, just change it yourself. This is a detail that to some people does need to be fixed, however given the fact that visors in the NHL are optional is this truly a big deal? Granted this isn't that answer you want to hear but I personally believe that EA has bigger issues to deal with first. However, this issue can also be a simple fix for the dev team by just changing a value.
Personally, I roll without a visor but this thread isn't about me.
Put this idea on EA Game Changers to let the developers know that you (and others who vote) really want it fixed.
Does anyone else get that problem when your editing your NHL and AHL lines and finish one of them, if you have invalid lines on the other one you can't go to it and must do best lines, this really pisses me off...

Yup. Happens every single time when I trade a player who is on my AHL roster. Tells me I need to edit my lines, and when I do, I'm stuck on the NHL roster and can't switch over to the AHL without the prompt coming up. Only option is to the the assistant coach edit them and then start all over.
A lot of good work done this year. We need new PBP for sure (Doc Emrick hell yeah). Goalies are on a good way but they can still make them better and more realistic.
And in the menu, make a point where you can make Line 1 and 2 autmatically your PP1 and PP2.

NO.
For the love of god, please no.
What they need is Jim Hughson.
-Optional warm-ups before a game(could be interesting)
-Bench brawls or just a couple fights at the same time and more than two people brawling it out. complete chaos and let the players move their body and skates while throwing punches. Maybe even punch a ref or a fan lol
-Online team play have 2 lines of forwards of real life people and 2 lines of defense, and every other shift they switch off and the other line can make changes in ranked OTP. It will be more realistic.
-Allow coaches in OTP to choose lines, as seen above, and strategies.
-realistic goal celebrations, be able to control your whole body.
-In be a gm mode, you should be able to see the actual overall that some prospect has the potential to become(4 stars=83 overall maybe)
-be able to talk to people and setup a game in gm connected without having to figure out their gamertag or go on an app to start a game(in-game chat room possibly)
-Be able to send a goon out to shadow their best player(Couturier on Malkin)
-more realistic faceoffs, it could be improved with more options
-The defense should be able to pick off more passes in the crease( cross-creasers)
-They need to give us an explanation on how every attribute works and how it affects our player or goalie(I thought durability would make me not get knocked down so easily from hits until I found out it was balance and durability was for injuries)
-MOST IMPORTANTLY-Braden Holtby shouldn't be a damn 73 overall(my favorite goalie lol)
-They need to give us an explanation on how every attribute works and how it affects our player or goalie(I thought durability would make me not get knocked down )
They do have explanations for the player attributes. Durability is the attribute that determines how resistant you are to injury.
- Contract extensions during the season
- Better drafting system, it would be awesome if you could scout 1 player specifically and see what he needs to improve and what his strenghs are. For example, I want to scout Sean Monahan of the 67's so my scouting staff would provide me with a scouting report on him. I like that they divided it into six categories but a bit of info on him would be great. So let's say... great 2way centreman, amazing poise with the puck, solid in all three zones. accurrate shot. Something like that.
- Obviously true performance skating is awesome but I'm sure it can only get better.
- Custom goalie masks. Allow us to edit the masks by moving the logo, names on the chin area sort of like Price or Kipper, changing the colors, etc. You get the point.
- WJC for be a pro, Im not sure if it's a licensing thing or not but it would be sick.
- Hitting engine needs fixing.
- Keep track of your prospects stats while in junior to see if the are developing nicely. For example, high 1st rounder not living up to expectations. Obviously, it would allow to know if he's worth a ELC or let him re-enter the draft.
Thats all I have for now
these are good, also needs:
- better 1st round prospects, not usually 1st pick grow in 8 years to NHL as gets drafted when he is overall 58.
playing FIFA online makes me realize what a joke NHL is. I know there's no NHL season to use for this, but, when you play online in FIFA players ratings depend on their real-life form and commentators talk about recent real-life events. something tells me that even with a season in play NHL would not have had either of those
They need to fix player development in Be A GM. Why is it that I always have some 3 or 3.5 star guy jumping ~15 overall points in a single season (example from today: Alex Biega from 68 overall to 83 overall...After having played 7 AHL games that year and putting up an impressive 3 points), while 4.5 star guys either in juniors or getting quality ice time and putting up good numbers only go up 1-3 points?
Dumb.
Would also love for them to fix the drafting system, so that:
1) you can scout specific players rather than generalized areas. I hate that I'll send my scout to watch forwards the Q for 4 weeks, and at the end know absolutely nothing about MacKinnon or Drouin.
2) you can actually get NHL players after round 2-3. In real life, there are late round diamonds in the rough, late bloomers, etc. As it stands right now, in the game there's pretty much no point in even having 4th-7th round picks because you're lucky if they become AHLers.

In my GM Connected league Galchenyuk, a 4.5 star, started at 60 and is up to a whopping 66 after 3 years. Some guy named 'Kevin Kikuts' was drafted in 2014 and was a 72 to start and is 4.5 stars...

Why do 4.5 star guys NEED to develop faster than lower ceiling guys? I disagree with your assessment. Low ceiling players often develop faster than high ceiling players (i.e. Marcus Foligno vs Magnus Paajarvi).
I agree on scouting and the draft, though. Scouting needs to be completely revamped, IMO and I hate what they did with the draft.

I just do Best Lines/Assistant Coach Replaces Player and then change them afterwards.
I don't know how they haven't fixed this yet. It's extremely annoying.

A player with a lower ceiling who only played 7 games should not consistently be out-developing a higher-ceiling player who meets or exceeds expectations.
The ratings of each category should be partially dependent on age. Things like awareness, passing, poise, should never go down as they get old. I think things like shooting and skating and durability should. Also prospects should have good skating skills when they're drafted and very little strength. They need to actually take time with their ratings, it'd make the game so much better.
