Not sure what it was, but accidents always happen there and I dont know why, it's just a normal corner. Last year an SUV and and a taxi got into an accident on the same corner and the SUV flipped over (completely upside down). Then just a few months ago the guy who played Lenny on Laverne & Shirley (random) was hit in the same spot.
A big storm is forecast to hit NJ next week on both the US and EURO models. The only problem is it might be too warm to support snow and just be nasty rain, but it's really close. But if it gets just a bit colder we could be looking at a lot of snow. Fingers crossed. Folks in New England should get pounded by this though, good for the mountains!
EDIT: added picture (it's friggin' huge)

As long as it doesn't hit the City i'll be fine with snow.
This is so massive, it would hit, pretty much everywhere in the northeast.
The problem for NYC is, as of right now it looks too warm for snow - would just be rain. Probably wouldnt be snow until you get to Hunterdon, Warren, Sussex etc.... counties, but it's almost silly even predicting stuff like that this far away, the important thing is that both models are now in agreement for a really big storm system next week.
