Snow still tries to do that, I saw it the last time he played against the Flyers and the refs had to clean his crease a few times.

Belfour is definitely one, as people have mentioned, the hacking and whacking he used to do is crazy, and he passed it on to Turco. Garth Snow really does stick out in my mind, because of his blocker.

~Canucklehead~
aside from hacking everybody that comes near him, he has left the crease and attacked players like Tkachuk and Green.

I'd have loved him on Bruins..

Smith gets my vote as well. His Stick work around the crease is the Reason I'm an Islander fan today.

yeah, Dipietro's a chippy kid, and likes to defend his crease. Being mentored by Smith and Snow, one can't imagine how that happened...

Incidentally, Smith gets my vote. But does anyone else think it's interesting that the two dirtiest goalies of all time, are also the first to be credited with a goal, and the first to be credited with a goal from an actual shot? No correlation, just kind of an interesting coincidence.

That's funny, it's pretty much my reason as well.

Well, there was the time he kicked Tim Connolly in the back of the head when he was face-down on the ice. I'd have to say that was pretty cheap and dirty.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Clouchebag.
