Frankie Palazzese was run out of town in the cleaning out of Mavety players last year.He failed for Gilmour in the playoffs so he moved him very quickly after he became GM as well as most of the other players from the team he coached.
lol, You missed player of the week Charles Sarault who was also moved by Gilmour last year.

An inexact science for sure......lots of superb NHL GM's have also erred big-time in trades over the years, nature of the business when dealing with human beings....

Hey everyone,

I'm new here (both to Kingston and to these forums) and i'm looking for Fronts fans to go to games with. (Would also like to check out some Queen's and RMC hockey as well) It's a strange thing, but for some reason my girlfriend doesn't seem to think going to a hockey game is a fun time. lol. So, i'm hoping to find people on here who are looking for people to go with so I don't have to go alone anymore.

Hope this doesn't come off as being weird. lol

Cheers!

It looks like the Frontenacs are going to be thin on defence for a while with Moffat out(Shoulder) Vanonin gone to Finland World Junior Tryouts and now Mckeown banged up his shoulder and might miss some time and the U17 tournament. It'll be interesting to see who they can get to fill in M.Watson? B.Blight? not sure where Nixon is?

Nixon was released outright. Don't look for him to return.

Greenaway also tore a stomach muscle and is day to day

Jenkins has had the flu for the past week has been laid up and hasn't even been at the rink, hopfully it doesn't turn to something worse.

Anyone have any updates on Roland Mckeown shoulder injury? Lemieux is a joke. He can ruin a bright future being a cheap shot artist. What a joke. I hope someone on Kingston teaches him a lesson next time. More importantly I dont want to see bright future stars have everything change because of a dirty player. Unfortunately Lemieux wears this type of play like a badge of honour. Id punish him hard next time and either force him to change his game or get out.

glad to hear Moffat will be back soon. I think the Fronts have really missed his steadier presence on the back end. it's too bad I won't be able to get to Friday's game...it'll be awhile until the next one.

Article in the Whig Standard today said Mckeown has a Grade 1 shoulder separation and could be out 1 to 2 weeks. It looks like Lemieux got an 8 game suspension for the hit.

I couldnt be happier Bennett and Mckeown went after Lemieux. Ill make sure I dont miss the next Fronts vs Colts game. Lemieux needs a beating. Who is the fronts tough guy? Id hate to see one of there young bright stars break there hand in a fight.

Hutchinson or Dupuy do a fair amount of the policing, but there's really no pure tough guy

It will be interesting to see to 2 16 year old London natives against the Knights today.Spencer Watson has 14 goals and his twin brother Mathew was recalled and has played the last 2 games. Last year a young Kingston team came in and beat the Knights I'm sure they will be ready this year with a 20 game win streak on the line.

Kingston was oh so close to ending London's winning streak today. Pressure of closing out the game seemed to get to them, but that's expected from a young team. Though a couple of the players who seemed to struggle defensively were both veterans (Moffat and Hanes). At least they walked away with a point.

Finland will be my alternative favourite to win the WJC tournament with both Vainonen and Ikonen on the team.
