Why would the Coyotes run away with this? Sure, the draft pick would be nice but if the draft is done the same way as it was in 2005 then it wouldn't be that good. Gagner is so overrated it isn't funny and Eberle is good but the combo is NOT good enough to replace Yandle AND Hanzal. No, the Coyotes would not trade a center(a position they're already kinda short in) and their #1D for a bust(seriously, Yandle and Gagner have about the same amount of point average recently but Yandle is actually good at defending) and a scorer(a good one but will he be able to maintain his shooting percentage?). The Coyotes just came out of a conference final, they're not rebuilding and don't need to get rid of two of their best players for one good player and assets.
I do not know what is worse a Coyotes fan saying no to a trade that could possibly put their team back on the map or that a Oilers fan proposed this trade are we trying to get snother 3 1st overall picks in a row?
And to think I thought Leafs fans made bad proposals.....
No. It's just OP.
Please, please, please stop making proposals. Every time I open a thread you've started, I don't think it can get worse... And then I open the next proposal and it does
I like it but I think Yakupov have a better chance to become an impact player than Couturier and the Oilers lose a lot of their offense on those trade so I think they should keep their young players and see what they can do.

He legit makes the worst proposals i have ever seen. This is terrible, you've outdone yourself this time "oilersfan"

Yes, because three straight playoff appearances, a division title, a conference final appearance and a strong core is nothing. They could get a mediocre draft pick, a overrated player and a strong scorer if only they traded their #2 center and #1 defender, also known as both of their assistant captains! Surely that'd change everything.

Well, it would change everything. For the worse.
I said put them back on the map like meaning other teams would like to see them and they would have a franchise player to market around which they don't. They would accept this trade

Oliver Ekman-Larsson would like to have a word with you. In fact, if given the choice, I'd take him over Hall or Eberle.

Phoenix would win fewer games if they traded Yandle and Hanzal for Hall and Gagner. The first is all fine and dandy but we'd be just another team with an extra bingo ball. Doesnt mean it'll be top ten.
Coyotes have one bingo ball. Oilers have one bingo ball. Big whoop. Oilers pick could be 30th overall.

I would put money on it would be easier to market around Hall than OEL is what I am talking about when I said the back on the map comment.
I also do not think they trade would hurt your team at all.

It's much easier to market wins than losses. OEL helps us win more than Hall would.
Well it isn't working. Hall would help more than Yandle with OEL taking over the d line
You can't say that, when Phoenix is just starting their upswing. People can be slow to realize what is going on, but if the wins keep coming, the bodies will increase.
To Coyotes
Jordan Eberle/Taylor Hall
Sam Gagner
2013 1st round pick
To Oilers
Keith Yandle
Martin Hanzal
Sean Couturier
Wayne Simmonds
Dare I saw this is your worst proposal yet? Yes, I dare.
This is your worst proposal yet.
Edmonton gives up 2 superstars, a 2nd line center and a 1st rounder and in return they get a decent 1st pairing d-man, a 2nd line center and a 3rd line center. Oh and a 3rd line winger.
No thanks. After this deal Edmonton has only Hemsky and Hopkins to put the puck in the net.
Its well known that OP isn't an Oilers fan, he just comes on he trade forum and the polls to make Oilers fans look bad.
Yup,it's a known fact that my goal in life is to make Oiler fans look bad.Get a grip dude, this proposal was meant to be a pure joke. Many Oiler fans need to take a damn deep breath and relax. WOW!
If you check his post history, it's extremely questionable that he's an Oiler fan. If you're seeing a ridiculous thread on this forum involving the Oilers, it's probably his.
