I don't think so. I think Dumbas a guy a lot of the other players respect and are happy to go to war with. There's def a few others, but he's one of the best. He's a guy that can sense when momentum is going the other way, and then goes out there with a big hit to change it.

They're talking to the guys before they announce it, I believe. Would be unbelievably unprofessional if twitter found out before the players.

Pretty much all these guys are leaders of their club teams too.

interesting thing I heard that I had never really thought of. This will most likely be the first time many of these players have been cut before.

Monahan was a totally expected cut considering age and being outplayed by player of similar age.
See you next year.

It's a shame when they parade them out in front of the media after being "devastated" with the news, as some are.

That's my point. He didn't tear up the camp, which really nobody did, but he was one of the better forwards. Still didn't help him because he doesn't have the track record other guys will.

It is why guys like Murphy, Subban, etc should and will make the team.

Monahan is eligilble for 2013 NHL draft. Spott had said today he thought Monahan had NHL-level hockey sense. #SunWorldJuniors

You gotta feel for the kids. Props to everyone for making it to camp, I think Pelech + Monahan will make it next year.

At least the 67s will have their team back. They could use them - last place in the OHL.

So many people doing updates, lol. For this one, i'll just watch.

Sure Dumba hasn't had the greatest season or been good at camp(Really?) but who else will bring that physicial/big scoring touch ability?

Id be hightailing it out the back door of the hotel or the parking garage of the hotel not the front lobby of the hotel if i got cut.

Just my two cents but if Wilson stays over a Monahan then there is something wrong.... we have guys who can hit. Look at Boone Jenner and Brett Connolly last year, both increased the physical play.

At the summer series we say Scheifele get really physical with the Russians. McNiell can hit, etc

I bet they won't be happy seeing themselves disappointed on Sportscentre for the next 3 days.

Hamilton is bigger, and a better scorer this year. Rielly is more dynamic.

Monahan didn't really do a whole lot at least Wilson hit which is doing something.
