Derrick Pouliot was an offensive guy in a D corps full of offensive potential players. Not surprised he was cut.

Did not expect Pouliot to be cut this early. If Dumba stays and Pouliot is cut, I wonder what the reaction will be on HF.

Surprised a guy so good was cut, but Pouliot was caught in a numbers game. Didn't set himself apart from the group enough.

I thought Pouliot showed good poise and passing ability, with confidence. Really disappointing to see him cut so early.

They are two completely different defensemen. They were not fighting for the same spot.
