He's Canada's best bet in goal. Two, 30-minute starts doesn't change that.

Nice to see Camara get the invite to camp. Shame we won't be seeing him on the team but great to see regardless for Bruins fans.

Its not his year because they will not bring 3 2013 draftees...they will not take a small team to UFA, why do you think wilson is not cut, why do u think Monahan 2013 has been cut...excpect Drouin, shinkaruk to get cut tomorrow...im going by history

cheifele-RNH-Rattie
Huberdeau-Mackinnon- Anthony Camara ?? who else???
Ritchie-Strome-Jenner
Hudon-Danault-McNeill
Tom Wilson

Rielly-Hamilton - Top D Pair
Harrington-Ouellet - Shut down
Reinhart - Corrado/Sproul

I think the whole draft eligible stuff is bs... when the kids are 17 and wearing cages then yeah they are underage. Shinkaruk shouldnt be spoken of as "underage"

Huberdeau-RNH-Scheifele
Mackinnon-Strome-Shinkaruk
Ritchie-Jenner-Rattie
Hudon-Danault-McNeill
Drouin

-Line 1 with the three best forwards on the team.
-Risky on line 2 but two very good scorers in Mackinnon and Shinkaruk around Strome could be deadly, very dynamic.
-Line 3 has players that all play well in a high energy role, and all 3 have an exceptional scoring touch. Really like the look of these three together.
-Line 4 with four guys who can all thrive on the PK or shutting down the opposing top line.
-Drouin has earned it in my eyes, undeniable IQ.

Hamilton-Rielly
Ouellet-Harrington
Reinhart-Corrado
Murphy

-The top 4 is set in stone here
-Reinhart has been very steady in camp, Corrado has impressed enough to fit in the top six.
-Murphy gets saved by Spott, PP specialist trading shifts with Rielly

Subban
Paterson
Broissoit

-Malcom Subban played poorly today but his body of work far exceeds anyone elses
-Jake Paterson has played his way into the second spot in front of Broissoit

Strome on the third line? You could make a case for just about every guy on your bottom six over Camara. If he makes the team it will be on the fourth line.

Well Dumba has played bad two games in a row. He has to play extremely well tomorrow to make it.

They're taking three goalies to Europe this year.

Two bad games now. But that's not the problem, it's how Dumba was exposed today. He was burnt to the outside several times and his back skating was downright brutal. He was also out of position most of the time and challenged forwards too aggressively when facing a rush. So it's not that he's having bad games, it's how bad his tools and toolbox look on big ice against this type of competition.

Two still doesn't change my mind. I know Corrado has looked good, but I just think Dumba brings more elements to the team, even if they haven't shown lately.

As for his toolbox struggles, like I said, it was against the U of A, so I'm honestly not taking it as a very accurate dynamic. But, I'll be tuning in tomorrow to see if they linger when his job is on the line.

So switch Strome and who ever (Camara) lines can change but those are the players i would take, but after many here saying Camara is no good, im having second thoughts...but i am certain from past history that Drouin and Shinkaruk will not be on this team this year...and Canada will NOT take a small team to UFA

I would say any person that is guessing cuts and doesnt have Dumba as one of them and has Jake Paterson as getting cut probably hasnt watched any of the games or followed the team. Dumba hasnt had a good regular season this year, almost didnt get invited to camp (Spott said he wasnt going to invite him) and has been the worst dman of these tryouts.

My faith in HC will be over if Dumba makes it over any of the D left or Pouliot even. His physical edge hasnt shown once in camp either and that was his one chance at making the squad.

Subban is gonna cause some controversy, but based on play so far this camp, he shouldn't make the team.
And you write for this site? What a joke. They don't base their cuts solely on this camp as you seem to be hinting at. Their decision go back over this year and further. Subban will make this team

I'm not sure what the U of A has to do with it. I'm pretty sure Russians have as good or better skaters than U of A. I would be more sympathetic to his struggles if he was just turning pucks over or having any other issues, but having your skating exposed? That's bad.

Did Dumba and Murphy really beat out Pouliot? A lot more things factor into selection then these games, but just from watching, I was more sold on the latter. Not saying he should have made the team I'm just happy Pouliot was able to go into camp and perform well.

The point was Camara will be a 4th liner if he makes the team, not the top 6.

Scheifele-RNH-Strome
Drouin-MacKinnon-Huberdeau

You won't have to feel unsure because it's not going to happen.

I've watched Subban play at least two dozen games and I honestly believe that if it wasn't for his brother we would have never heard of him. Giving up easy goals is a trademark in Belleville. Once the tsn marionettes got the word from his agent they were all over him like white on rice. He is a media created goalie. Give up an easy goal against the Russians and that could be all they need. The Junior team doesn't need overhyped, over promoted, underskilled players at any position but especially in goal.

Now I'm thinking something like this:

Huberdeau-RNH-Rattie
Hudon-Scheifele-McKinnon
Jenner-Strome-Ritchie
Danault-McNeill-Wilson
Drouin

Reilly-Hamilton
Harrington-Murphy
Ouellet-Corrado
Reinhart

Subban
Brossoit
Paterson

Good balance on all lines.

That's too far off what the starting 12 would be, with different combos though.... Good mix of energy and strength there too, I like it

Subban is a stud in the O and was great in his two games against Russia in the summer. Not sure which 24 games you watched. His bad day today won't keep him off this team.

Subban is a lock for this team, hes the best goalie Canada has had at the world juniors since price. He was a stud in the summer series and a bad 30 minutes against a Canadian university wont put a dent in his confidence.
