I just simply cannot justify it for 50$ because of my one rule of 1$/hour minimum
I'd expect max 20 hours of gameplay from a game like this, i don't even consider FC3 to have a multiplayer
I think the game is very fun. Pretty sure you can easily get over 20 hours of gameplay if you plan on doing the side quests, crafting and whatnot. Discovering all radio towers as well as taking over all of the pirates base camps instead of just rushing through the main story line quest.
There's also a bunch of missions for Co-op, but I haven't yet touched those.
As someone who has followed STALKER years before its release, it's nothing that it could've been. The original is great, they just milked the rest.
Whaaaaat? Call of Pripyat was absolutely amazing. Clear Sky I feel they got a little too ambitious and didn't execute well on some of the ideas, but Call of Pripyat really was amazing.
Eh, everything is refurbished save for the Lycosa keyboard. That keyboard has been on sale on Woot at least twice in the past 2 months for $40 both times.
I can never trust any refurbished electronics. I've passed up some amazing deals on them too, I just know they'll break way too soon.
btw, I'm surprised there isn't a Good Old Games thread going here. All games 5 years and older or something. I seems that there's a lot of interest in those games these days.

would love to see updated sequels. kind of amazed that there hasn't been another Dungeon Keeper after part 2 ...that series seems to have a lot of fans.
GoG, has some great deals and games, I have about 20 games there, Witcher2 and the infinity engine games (PS:T, BG/BG2, IWD etc) and a few others- Ultima VII. They just were giving away Duke Nukem 3d for free yesterday. All DRM free, but I still prefer Steam and wish I bought Witcher2 through Steam. But it is a great service.

Yeah, I got both from an abandonware site. But I'd still love to get a version from GOG so I always have it working right. Last time I got halfway through the game when I downloaded the abandonware and I couldnt launch it anymore.
And I agree! I used to just fight in the arena and end up dying lol. I was so confused as a kid. One day, I finally got further in the game and figured out what to do - and I lost the manual somehow so I couldn't advance. Damn it.
Also if you own Witcher/Witcher 2 retail you can activate them on gog.
Great because now I don't have to patch my retail Witcher 1 copy 30 times up to the enhanced edition level .

Giants: Citizen Kabuto (i remember this was one of the first games that made use of 'T&L' tech (transform and lightning) on the first Nvidia Geforce cards. after all the hype about how awesome this game was gonna look, i finally picked it up and was pretty blown away by the graphics (i believe i was running a Geforce 256 at the time). aside from having some really nice graphics (pretty awesome for its time), it was a pretty good game, too. http://www.gog.com/gamecard/giants_citizen_kabuto

some of those puzzles were frickin hard ...ended up using a walkthough for some of them. anyway ...after playing SNES games for a couple years and then seeing 7th Guest, on CD no less, ...well, i was quite blown away to say the least. i don't think i ever turned the SNES on again ...eventually selling it and all my games (had around 30 SNES games when i sold it). the PC gamer in me was born.
