RNH obviously, MacKinnon, Huberdeau, Rattie, Scheifele, Strome, Jenner...

Leaves 5 or 6 spots for:
Camara, Catenacci, Danault, Drouin, Hudon, Lipon, McNeill, Ritchie, Shinkaruk, Wilson?
Ritchie is a lock. Danault is probably a lock. Rattie is not.

Looking at the D

Locks: Hamilton, Harrington, Rielly, Ouellet

Probables: Corrado,Reinhart

Bubbles: Wotherspoon, Dumba, Murphy, Sproul

Will Corrado even play game 3? They need to play the 4 bubble Dmen and that leaves only two spots. Either they play Reinhart+Corrado or they play 2 of the guys that sat out game 2. If he's not playing then he's made the team imho.

TSN heaps praise on Corrado in the video labeled WJC:Reason for Concern.

Bob Mackenzie and Ferraro seem to really like his game.

Was a ridiculous over-hype of a draft pick, and said as much at the time.

Just plays a very junior-esque game, very highlight-oriented, but when push comes to shove he's an undersized defender who is poor in his own zone and not strong at using the players around him on the ice. He can throw huge checks and looks good with the puck on his stick, and that doesn't make you a good NHL defender.

Basically reminds me of Steve McCarthy with hitting ability. Incredibly similar in terms of size/offensive toolbox.

Sounds like Keith Ballard. Maybe we can deal Ballard home to Minnesota to take Dumba under his wing.

He's also a bad skater, especially backwards and laterally. Pivots are mediocre and forward skating is slightly above average. The skating to me is the biggest concern for a guy with his size.

When the session was over he went over to the coach and was picking his brain about stuff, didn't see anyone else do that either.
Missed replying to this earlier. He did the same at the training camp practices. Always with Bowness after the session ended and seems like he was asking about the drills orwhat he should be doing. I think he just wants to learn and improve. Always nice to see that from a young guy.

Anyways, made a short (30 sec) video a few days ago from Frankie's last game before the camp. Had a nice goal and shoot out goal. Didn't post it then, but it seems like the interest in him has increased tenfold. So for those interested:

I liked Kid_Roll's "the Corrado Kid", pronounced like the Karate Kid.

Given Rattie is not a lock, I'd still like to see him in, he does pretty damn well in the WHL.

So we'd need 6 more forwards. I'd take Danault, Drouin, Hudon, Ritchie, Shinkaruk and Wilson probably. Some real skill and sandpaper in that group I think.

Danault and Ritchie are locks since they sat today.

Yeah. I have Ritchie as a lock for sure, I haven't seen Danault very much though but he seems like a good passer.
