thx for the heads up. I ended up on 154th in Hawthorne ish and there were a few great trucks. One was a grilled cheese sandwich truck that really made a great sandwich and another was all about garlic which was also great.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to rich and filling but great. I will be in L.A. again this weekend until this Saturday and then gone again. I am going to be in the LACMA area so I hope to give Banh Mi a try.
Oki Dogs has finally died.
They are still open for bus but they have dropped so far off in quality that they aren't even worth eating any longer.
If you had an Oki Dog at the first location back in the day then you know how great a loss this is but if not there isn't any point of rushing out to get one now. Suffice it to say that when Terry and Dani were making Oki Dogs they were something really unique and special.
A truly special piece of L.A. will soon die of the same cancer that has eaten so many of the unique and special weird places in L.A.
Change is constant and I am certain that in time something else will step in and pretend to take its place.
We are organizing a most handsome player in the league poll tournament for the poll board, could you guys give me 3 of the most handsome players on the team?

Interesting news in the nursing university man (me).
Started working with adobe premier pro 5.5 and my HFM30 camcorder. Made a 5 minute clips and put it on youtube with the analysis of nursing to a movie (lot of work focusing on the students).
Got 100%, and the teacher/some students cried to it.
The Dean approached me and asked if I was interested in making other video's for the university.
Now I got 5 videos to make; they actually pay (one being an entire semesters tuition) for the university.

It drives me nuts that every time I go to El Pollo Loco, they give me corn tortillas that are broken in half. I know the obvious answer is to get flour but I don't want flour tortillas!

I had never heard of Oki Dogs until that infamous thread where you suggested it to somebody visiting LA. I still have never been but I hear it in that NOFX song now. "I'll see you all at Oki Dogs.." lol! At least I think that is what he is saying.

Just something to share with you guys. It looks like you may have a big following or some sort in Prescott AZ. Or maybe the AZ Sundogs could be the new Kings affiliate in the future. I don't know!
