ASG is a joke but I am happy that 4 Celtics are front runners. No one deserves to be selected more than Paul Pierce and KG. Really happy about Jeff Green being on the list and Rondo is Rondo.

Umm, alot of players are more deserving than Garnett and Pierce.
This will likely be the last ASG either of them play in which is why I said it.
I hate that. Previously great players don't deserve to be in an all-star game when they aren't playing as well as other players are. Mike Bibby was one of the best PG's in the west for a 5 year stretch and never made the game in favor of Gary Payton and other lesser players. That isn't right.

It isn't right but it happens and when it happens to guys on your team then as a fan you're happy.
They should just do a skills competition rather than a game. Coaches and players get to decide.
The saddest thing tho, is that Blake Griffin will be the starting PF for the West, and while his numbers are good; 18.2 Points, 8.9 Rebounds, 2.0 Offensive Boards and 3.1 assists, David Lee is statistically better in *EVERY* category, averaging - 20.1/11.2(3.1)/3.6 and might not even be an All-Star.

I wouldn't be happy. I'm a 49ers fan and i'll be the first to tell you that Justin Smith and Joe Staley should not be pro bowlers.
There are guys who only have a 1-2 year peak and should get in over the aging, less productive vets. The guys who go can bring their entire families and have a great time and that's what being an all-star is all about, not the game itself.
