The pitching will be fine. We need to develop our own guys and supplement that with short term high quality veterans. The front line guys need to come from the draft.
The Red Sox should be rebuilding. They spent all of this money and they are still not as good as the Yankees, who might not be as good as the Jays and then you have the Rays in there too, plus a solid Baltimore team. Seems like a lot of money to put on a long shot.

Yup, I'd be pissed if I was a Red Sox fan but hey, whatever. The worst part is they have some good prospects who will be ready before these deals are up and then what? They might end up having the most expensive bench / bullpen of all time.
I love Sanchez, Garza, and Shark at the top. Baker is a wild card. He may be a crucial fourth starter. Will be interesting to see if they trade Garza now for sure. I think maybe they should.
