Nice home movie broj, you've got good acting chops.

Unfortunately, that's where you're choppery ends.

this trades great, you're an actor not a gem of an nhl team making all the trades.

I've got hockey chops, pork chops, karate chops and mutton chops.

overall its just not a good trade for either team. now if you exclude yakupov and hamilton then I think the klefbom for subban and a 1st is much more reasonable and benefits each team to some extent.

i dont see either team really doing the trade neither gain anything they need. dubnyk will at worse be a decent goalie who could turn into a true #1 also bunz in system. subban wont be nhl ready for years so doesnt help them much

klefbom will be a stud dman besides the worlds he also worked his way up to being a top dman on färjestad playing big minutes and important roles and is NHL ready which oilers need..

the 1st will probably be a late pick and even though its a deep draft the pick wont be good enough to make oil want this trade...

boston needs hamilton and subban in their system and edmonton needs yakupov and klefbom..

sounds like yakupov and klefbom are very underrated on here

side note goalies can be quite the mystery if they will make it or not but i am fairly confident subban will be a #1 someday

As an Oil fan I want no part of this. The gap between Hamilton and Klefbom is nowhere near the gap between Yakupov and Subban + 1st. I understand B's fans not wanting the deal either due to Hamilton's potential vs Yakupov not being a need for their team... but I don't think it's debatable that the Oil would be parting with the greater talent (guess without knowing where the 1st falls makes it debatable).

Obviously fans from both team are going to say no; so why continue to agrue about it. I would say that Yak's value is higher than Hamilton's value though.

I'm of the philosophy that goaltending prospects have zero value until they can prove they can play in the NHL (hell, for a few seasons at that; see: Steve Mason), and 99% of the GMs who trade major pieces for one should be fired. The 1% who don't deserve to lose their jobs just won the lottery.
