I was at the game. Guys looked flat, Connacher was missing for the entire 2nd period, limited shifts in the 3rd. Don't know why.

Connolly dropping the gloves to stand up for Panik was great to see though. Special Teams meltdown and having played more 3in3s than any other team caught up to them I think. They only have 3 more 3in3s left for the season though.

Officials were atrocious.

Crunch's Labrie missed Sunday's game with a minor ailment, Cooper said he's day to day.

Cooper on goalies: "At some point, one guy is going to have to separate themselves. I don't think either one has done that.''

In other injury news, Cooper said Vladdy (shoulder) is probably looking at a post-Christmas return

Conacher on his second-period benching Sunday: "He (Cooper) does certain things that mostly work out...You have to have trust in him.''

So far, Jean said he likes what he sees, despite both players with stats that could use some polishing.
