Paterson was excellent in camp. Subban is easy number 1, and Binnington is having an unreal year in the OHL and plays out of his mind whenever he plays Kitchener (Steve Spott's team)

I didn't expect Corrado to be cut but I'm happy to be right about Murphy in a top 6 role (No chance he's cut).

Also not shocked Binnginton over Brossoit, I don't think there was a large difference. Not the decision I'd make but not surprised.

It wasnt that he was a standout, its that unlike Dumba, and even to an extent Sproul, he was extremely reliable with and without the puck.

Not in my mind. He played well but it's not like he was heads and shoulders above everybody else IMO.

Maybe ppl will realize that the way you play at camp doesn't always dictate the way they pick the team. The evaluations are based off of your play over the last 4+ months.

I think this speaks to the WJC brass looking at the full body of work this season as opposed to just camp. Broissoit hasn't exactly been playing at his best.

As long as Dumba doesn't make it. Because the biggest thing I learned from camp is that he simply doesn't have the agility to play at this level yet.

Why bother having the camp and dragging these kids out here with high hopes if even their best possible performance won't get them a spot on the team? If this was Cordaro's destiny they shouldn't have even brought him to camp. Puzzling.

Definitely some odd choices made. Apparently we don't want people who are looking solid to be going to this. Much better to roll the dice on ones who have looked unsteady at best and hope they pull it together....

Well that's politics for you. At least the coaching staff is already making themselves the scapegoat if this doesn't go well.

He won't make it..... i think Sproul deserve the invitation as a 6-7

Edit: It can't be true...not McNeill

Then what's the point of the camp? Might as well cut it and announce the roster by November.

This country has had some ****** scouts and some stupid descions to go with it, it why we haven't gold in a while.

At European-sized rink, you benefit of defencemen with Ryan Sproul's reach.

I think they should put him to TOP6.

Hamilton 6'5
Rielly 6'0
Ouellet 6'1
Harrington 6'1
Reinhart 6'4
Sproul 6'4

Dumba 6'0
Corrado 6'0
Murphy 5'11
