Did you just turn 12, by chance?

Honestly, not THAT much of a shock that Wilson was cut. Penalty trouble is absolute death at this tournament when it's played overseas.

Not saying Wilson takes bad penalties, but the heavy hits he throws will be penalized based on sound and crowd reaction alone.

Lame no Corrado but the D should be pretty good no matter who the 6/7 guy is.

No. Miller, McKenzie and Ferrarro just said he was the most surprising cut in the last few years. They speculated that he might have got the axe due to his physical stature, and the fact that there are already a number of smaller forwards. He was the best D-man in camp, regardless of the two goals.

Really hope Drouin makes it along with Nate.... remember Tavares and Stamkos in 08 on the PP.... except because of their chemistry and speed they could be just as good if not better

Is it official they cut Sproul? I don't think McKenzie has confirmed it

I'm not totally sure about Camara making the team. Honestly think McNeil would have been the better pick to fill that role. Camara plays a north-south game and it's hard to say how it'll translate to the big ice. Furthermore he's taken some un-disciplined penalties in camp.

Just my two-cents; I am certainly no scout though!

I am guessing Shinkaruk is the last forward cut

If Dumba makes it, it's an awful decision, but i'll still cheer for him and hope he gets his game together before the tournament starts.

Obviously not.

Every TSN guy had him in before today....a defensive defensman, with excellent skating and a 100mph slapper, who can contribute offensively.

When people call the goals weak, I get annoyed....getting your shot through is a talent.

I have a feeling many posters are thinking this too.

He had a good camp, but there were better options overall. It's quite the accomplishment for him to even make the camp. He has a bright future ahead.

Actually, I HOPE it's between Lipon/Camara/Shinkaruk for the last cut.

I think, and hope, that TC consider chemistry. It's a short tourney, and if two guys already play good together, then keep them at all costs.

Meh. Dumba has been solid in the WHL for the entire autumn. One bad camp doesn't change it.

I think Shinkaruk or Drouin might be the last forward cut, are you gonna play on of them on the fourth line?

Pretty easy explanation. It's quite clear based on the season and this camp that Subban and Pat were going to be the top 2 goaltenders and Brossoit is too good to be the 3rd guy who does nothing.

In my opinion Brossoit is at the skill level where he needs to be doing something. It was probably a hard decision for HC to make in regards to choosing Bro or Pat, obviously Pat had a better camp though.

He was actually barely even invited to camp, per Steve Spott.

Hunter Shinkaruk gets cut. Will be a solid NHLer but too many offensive guys right now.

I'm fine with all the cuts so far. But if Dumba makes it, I'll be raging with all you guys.
