I guess you missed the point of being on a message board then if you dont want to hear people's opinions about players.

So who was the biggest longshot entering camp to make it? Camara, Lipon, Wotherspoon, someone else?

Well now that it's confirmed time for Canada to go for it. Plenty of talent on this squad so just have to see what they can accomplish out there.

Remember that if he loses you a game. In single elimination games the risk of bringing a kid that when he is on can win you a game, but when he is off can send you home is a risk move. I don't think he is a bad player, but he could very well be the goat.

He was wrong.
I know I'm going to be considered biased, but even though McNeill didn't jump out at you, he was great positionally, the best PKer outside of Danault/Jenner (IMO) and he was the reason the Camara from Lipon goal happened today, he came back on the backcheck, identified his man quickly. I'm shocked he didn't make the team.

I think it's more the fact that Corrado outplayed Murphy in the big stage games. Corrado outplayed Murphy in camp as well as the SSS, so fans just assume it's wholly indicative of their capabilities.

I'd say Wotherspoon. He was the least flashy of the Dmen, but in the end that may be why he stuck. The guy just seemed to be quietly consistent.

If the lockout remains, RNH will probably dominate so we can win games 9-8. But I agree, I never have faith in canadian goaltending. It's been terrible for so long.

Technically Pietrangelo is guilty of this. Does that mean they shouldn't have picked him?

I'm glad Murphy is on the team. I never once said I don't like him. I am a fan of his and he's the main reason I watch Kitchener. This team Canada line up is full of skill. Skill over Physicality must have been Spott's thinking.

He's probably diminished it. He had that one great goal at the start of the season though.

Besides being off topic, this tells me nothing.

I'm watching the Pretoria Fishdogs play the Bostawna Birdmen in the African Champions League (Water football). Prove me wrong.

Is there any other defenseman in junior hockey that you would rather have on the ice in the last minute when trailing by a goal? Nope.

He had some good flashes, however the wilds have enough time to let him fix all his weakness.

During the games in Halifax for the Canada-Russia challenge, Murphy was quite good. Not sure about international-sized ice.

Anyways, I hope those who did make it now work hard at establishing some solid chemistry.

I'd say Paterson, the only 94' goalie and even though his d is far from perfect, he has some ugly numbers in the OHL.

Windsor's Richel previously tried a wrap around and Alberga just scored. Sorry for being off topic. I just wanted to prove it.

Is there any other high-end Dman in junior hockey that you'd do anything to keep off the ice when holding a lead in the final 10 minutes of the game in a tournament like this, against the Russians or Americans? Nope.

When Murphy's on, he's great, but a couple bad plays, starts losing confidence and the slope to him going completely to **** will be steep. I don't know how I feel about Murphy being on the team, I'm not really upset, but I know, even now, I'll be extremely worried everytime he's on the ice when we get into the elimination games, especially in the third of close games.
