A big part of my game is using the point to set up passes and/or take shots for tips and rebounds (because my D have the right skill set and good ratings I tend to use them more than most people). My forwards are pretty terrible so pretty passing plays don't work well, but if it's the off the rush thing then I'm good (seems like a wasted opportunity to just throw it on net and hope to be honest).
My understanding is that the "Stockey" system essentially only refers to low shots, intended to create unnaturally reliable rebounds that your AI won't respond to OFF OF A RUSH.

Once you set up possession in the zone, I don't think anyone begrudges low, deflectable shots.

Perfect. Clears it up for anyone who was not sure.

On a side note, anyone needing to play Pheonix tonight can play my CPU (I think it's just Edmonton). Not sure I'll get time to play any games.

Doughty: 15:28 played...in the 1st...

Welp,

10:00+ TOA to 4:04
22 shots to 13 shots

One horribly bad turnover --> Gagne breakaway later, a 1-0 loss.

GG

need their first winning SIM to maintain playoff hopes.

My skill level is not that high...sorry that u feel that way though.
Your goal was a textbook rebound glitch. You crept into the zone on the right side, slowed down just enough to let your winger gain some speed, fired a low shot at my goalies right pad and banged in the rebound without any problem. You tried it at least 5 times in the 1st and multiple times in the 2nd and 3rd. You never tried any wristers, one-timers, or anything different than throwing the puck on net hoping for a rebound. Oh, sorry, there was your goal line wrister in OT... much better.

Not to mention, you PM'd me for a game on the last day saying if I didn't come online in the next 2 hours that you'd play my CPU. Very accommodating.

I'm just glad Toronto doesn't play Dallas very often, because you sound like a real piece of work.

That wasn't my exact words to u...and you haven't even bothered to write to me earlier have you? At least I took some initiative and got u online. And if the rest is correct, I wouldn't mind watching a replay of that, I know for sure I had 3 or 4 rebounds from the rush after the blueline, not which I was trying to achieve anything offensive with at least, and I didn't get those rebounds either. Still, very interested in seeing that replay of that rebound goal, cuz that is not how I remember it at all.

Trade deadline seems dead in this league.

Ah well. Wish the advance was earlier. I can't stay on late tonight.

Washington has been kicked due to not enabling his CPU. Washington this is your last warning, enable your CPU when you rejoin or you will be replaced. I'm not going to kick people and re invite them every time, it takes 2 seconds.

i did for a second, but if im right this should take us to the last sim before the playoffs correct? Hopefully this doesnt take us all the way, because its simming 100 games. . when its normally between 80-90.

This sim is so crucial, on the brink of a playoff spot. And getting lecavier back...

Hmm.

We calculated three windows left--but the last one is short, IIRC.

Advance is done 31-29-8 with 7 games left. Which leaves 5 more games.

Yup.

So are we playing the last two, or sticking with the alternating blocks--which would leave a short simming window to close the season?

Up to you guys, i'd prefer to play them being the playoffs within grasp, but its up to you guys. Leaves 12 games(for me at least) to ensure a playoff spot.
