I don't think so. My fiend got into Business/Math double degree here with 90's in math, and high 60's in physics.
It shouldn't matter. One more thing about Waterloo - as far as I know, they prioritize highschools. Meaning, students from certain schools have advantages over other.
They base this one two categories:
- The success rate of students from every school
- The average applicant mark from every school
So, those marks are somewhat relative. Do most people in your have grades like those? Like is the average high 60/low 70 is? That could work as an advantage for you.
I got this info from a prof during my tours, and also from a couple of my HS teachers.
Just my luck...There's this really cute girl who I've noticed over the past few weeks, always see her in the library reading. Pretty cute, but I have no idea who she is. So today at lunch I told my buddy about her and I was like come with me I'll try to sit down and talk to her. So my buddy and I go and like I sit down, she was reading this book and there was the same book on one of the shelves so it was perfect..I acted like I was just beginning to read it..And after a minute or so I act like I suddenly notice she's reading the same book and like begin talking..Things actually go pretty well lol, which felt good cuz I never really go up to random girls and just start talking to them...But then she told me she's in grade 9...And ahhhh I was just in my head like ahhh damn...I dunno for me I would find it too weird if I'm in grade 12 and date a grade 9 girl...Unfortunate cuz she's really cute and seems like a smart girl.
Just studied for 3 and a half hours straight without any breaks. That's the Longest I've studied before I'm happy with myself. At least after tonight I'm finally done this semester! Yay!

The average is low 70s in most classes ... Thing is, classes like Bio and Chem have high averages because almost everyone dropped, and the people who are still in it are getting good marks
How much do you guys spend on an average dinner at a restaurant? I'm not talking about a fancy restaurant...think along the lines of Montana's, Turtle Jacks, Kelseys, etc.

Two people: 2 apps, 2 main, 2 drinks, tip = $60-70

Depends on the occasion really.
If it's just an ordinary night out, like 10-20. I don't do the whole apps-dinner-dessert thing, just dinner,
lol im basically always satisfied. I honestly can't remember ever getting an appetizer, except maybe very few times where I shared with others. It's the way I was raised.
Drove past Sheridan College near Sq1 today, and like I wanna apply there I really would like to go there since it's not too far from my house but like damn, just looking at it and the idea of college seems so depressing. I know it's ****ed cuz like college should be a good thing and I can work towards my career and all that stuff but just seeing the people in there it was like 9:00 and it was all dark in there, empty, a few students still in there alone on their laptops doing ****...Like I dunno I guess I'm just not ready to leave high-school yet. I ****ing love just going to school everyday, knowing everybody and I'm so used to this same routine...

Reminds me of that futuritis episode of Life With Derek
That's it, I'm going to start working out now for sure, I can't stay motivated but still. Strictly only cutting weight by doing cardio and trying to eat better until the end of February, then after that I'm thinking three days a week of weightlifting and what not, two days of cardio and two days of rest, but the rest days spread out.
